Boys Will Be Boys

When Henry gets a call to spend the night at boyfriend, Ian's flat, he assumes nothing of it. But upon finding a ring he knows is not for him. Truth gets revealed as the relationship falls apart in real time. Ian must learn to face the consequences of his fear to commit to his new life and future.

They seem like strangers just getting to know each other, which doesn’t seem to match up with the storyline, at least the part where the one is supposed to leave his girlfriend. I’m not feeling the invested emotion between these two, at least not in synch with the lines.

I agree, they didn't relate well to each other, no closeness or affections, it really didn't sell the story as described, not sure it was the quality of the acting or the writing and directing. It is an interesting story.
