Did you nut and bolt check the car before running it? That mightve caused the exhaust manifold to fall out and spark that fire, and I agree with fire drills... maybe you could try making a fire drill video on how to get out properly and what people need to do to put out a fire and other things correctly. The engine sounds like it's struggling a bit, sounds a little tired. Maybe check tune, for boost leaks. It might be worth checking engine compression for peace of mind as well. Love watching your vids man, keep up the great work bro 🙂
Also might be worth checking your shift gate on your gearbox shifter is installed correctly. Worth a check maybe, I just did a clutch on a v35 with a CD trans and the shift gate should be to the right, so you push down and move it down and to the right on the shifter to get it to go into Reverse, prevents selecting Reverse while in 6th ect.. Just wondering if that gate could be slightly out or something.
For your turbo gaskets and exhaust use those pinched end exhaust nuts and use new ones each time if you can. Common for them to come loose. The pinched end really helps them not come loose. Since I changed to those I've not had my exhaust come loose, also avoid cheap composite exhaust gaskets and use MLS where you can..or at min Permatex copper exhaust sealant with a gasket with a fire ring at least and those pinched end exhaust nuts. I had issues with blowing out cheap gaskets and nuts coming loose, ultimate or course is a good vband system but time and $$

Not sure it's been said but getting the exhaust cut off before the end of the rear bash bar will let it do it's job better. On wall taps and contact in the rear won't hurt the turbo or exhaust.

bolt that exhaust back up and keep ripping. the trans issues is a thing of itself. cash is tight but it might be worth slapping a different trans in to have the current one tore down and have the gears and synchros inspected. better to tear apart a issue trans then to have to buy a replacement and throw away a bad trans. this is the exact reason everything gets wrench checked every so often. you got this. bolt checks suck but it saves you on the course. idk how many times already ive saved myself from destroying my car to loose bolts.
you should have definitely towed the car back to the pits straight away after using fire extinguisher. The chemicals are going to make all the metal in the engine bay rust really quickly so you could have quickly washed away the chemicals sticking to the metal parts
If you’re still running the O2 sensor in the turbo elbow, your car would likely run super rich with that elbow being loose. It could explain why the car was running poorly up to that point
Man you definitely need a fun daily driver that you'll be able to drive with normal plates. This way you can clear your mind from the mishaps on the track and still make car content you want. Ps: i know they are not rwd, but last gen celicas are "cheap" atm in Japan
Genuine question: Is having your entire front windshield full of stickers some sort of flex to show that you're always sideways and thus only need to look out the left and right windows?

I think you need to slow down your need for speed. Get those cars totally sorted before events and hot lapping. Lol for the s13 just do a complete service maintenance and bolt check everything. New coolant system if you haven’t in the last year. And the skyline a good used chassis harness. I know. All easier said than done. Lol that’s why i have one drift car. 🤦🏻♂️ a lot to take care of. But you’re doing great. Just keep on keeping on. Everyone has a rough patch. Don’t give up!
