I used to shower with sweet Alhambra bracelets, specifically MOP & Carnelian that I never removed for years…so far no damage, perhaps stones are too small and compact to see visible flaws. I never dared shower with my Vintage pieces 😅 Thank you for this video, refreshes and adds information to my knowledge of the VCA stones.
How funny, I also have the MOP & Carnelian sweet bracelets and they are permanently around my wrist (it's just too difficult to put them back on by myself😄) those two have been through the wringer! heat/cold/water/bang them around the table, but they are still beautiful!
Has the chain length of the necklace you’re wearing in the video been altered or is the length the original size that is standard with purchase? Thank you!
Thank you so much for doing this video. I learned so much from you. I was thinking to add MOP earrings to my collection and wear them 24/7 but I think it is not a good idea to do so. Currently I’m wearing onyx earrings 24/7, I’m very lazy to put on and take off. So far so good after 3 months wearing, but definitely not a good idea to shower with it. Awesome video 👍💕
Nice video and thank you for sharing VCA stone guide. It's informative and I have more knowledge about it. I got chalcedony necklace and pretty enjoy to wear it 🥰🩵🤗
I can always count on you for informative videos! I was actually deciding to add a VCA bracelet when I travel to Europe so this video is PERFECT timing! You are a QUEEN!
What confuses me is that since this is luxury, vca, how come they would use such weak stones for such a luxurious collection. Why would they customer have to baby their pieces….. jewelry is meant to be worn, not babied. Meaning it shpuld withstand daily wear and use.
From strongest to weakest: Carnelian, Tiger’s Eye, Onyx, Blue Agate, Chalcedony, Rhodonite. These are all above a 5.5 and have the strength of steel. Rhodonite has the strength of a knife/glass
Isn't 2022 holiday pendant also porcelain? Tiffany like blue color. have 2021 & 2022 holiday pendants, and I think 2022 is also porcelain. Thank you for the video it helped me pick stones for my next bracelet!
I have my mom's one motif vintage lapis yellow gold Alhambra necklace that dad gave her for Christmas in 1968. I very rarely wear it. I just had it cleaned and tightened by the jeweler. I've been the owner of it since mom's passing in 2013. It's my only VCA piece. It's not scratched or damaged in the least. Mom seldom wore it either. It spends its time in its box in my gun safe. I take it out and wear it around the house. VCA is so expensive, and I'll never have another piece, so I'm taking great care of this one. Plus it has sentimental value, since it was my mom's. (Jan Griffiths).
Real gemstones are extremely robust. These are not gemstones. Just colorful stones that you find around real gems. Can get bucket full of them and cost next to nothing in areas where gem deposits are. Can’t believe women pay so much money for such simple designs made with worthless material. And have to be extremely careful when using them. What BS. If someone really like these designs (to me what look like jewelry fit for 4 year old girls ) should get the fakes. Can get all the selections for 1/10 of the price of one original piece. And use the hard earned money for something worthy. Just my not so humble opinion.
Who wants to spend money on jewelry that looks like it belongs on a 10 year old plus the stones are so delicate they require " extreme" care while wearing and cleaning? I want jewelry that I can wear everyday!! Never have though VCA was worth the money or hype....This video only reinforced my opinion of VCA.

I do agreee that I have done similar things to my holiday pendant, and all is well so far 🙏💖💜.

Do you mind sharing the price of each of this necklaces, please i have to save to get them.
so which stone would you say is the strongest > tigers eye, carnelian, blue agate? I don't want to take it off and ideally shower with it

Hihi..anyone know if VCA does complimentary cleaning services for my sweet Alhambra necklace?
Yes that should be the case
Anyone know the supplier of these stone?
Great video.
How about porcelain from Paris store ?

What do u think will be this yr holiday pendant
Was looking forward to hearing about tiger eye but couldn't find it? Anyway lovely video 🌸🌸🌸
Tiger eye?
These stones are too fragile for what you’re paying for.
Yeah…..thinking the same…it’s like, ummmm so when do we get to wear them?? lol I’d be afraid to.

malachite is probably more fragile then MOP

Imagine paying that much money for a frágil stone. I always want it the mother of pearl necklace . But I’m going to pass.

Van cleef has been around for ages, some of their stuff uses some of the most valuable diamonds and gemstone.
sounds like you can’t afford it, which is fine. very respected and quality brand with beautiful pieces.
@@acthegreatliterally😂
shut up susan, youre just mad you and your husband cant afford it and have to settle for dupes at tj max 💀💀
I mean you’re right! I much prefer ruby sapphire or diamond pieces. If I spend that much money on jewelry I want to be able to wear it 😂😂
