SafariLoading 2019 is way too bright, it looks like a cartoon city almost. Not to mention the street lines/designs. They are incredibly unrealistic compare to the 2017 side

PlayBoii- Jayy nothing wrong with having abright and colorful city look at melbourne and it looks more colorful because the blacks are darker

personally some of the 2017 intersections looked way better
some just have rebuilt to be more realistic :D

In 2019, the city looks more realistic, but not so beautiful as in 2017. Some ideas from 2017 would look good in 2019.

For me 2017 looks like a story that went through many different ages, and 2019 is like a all was built in the same Decade
2017 looks better because a lot of mods broke down to get good graphics in the meantime.
I think it also has better design in general, not just graphics.

2019 is present and it’s good.
But 2017 was overwhelming.
Sometimes we need look back in the past to move forward in the future.
3:21 is probably one of the clearest examples that the lables for 2019 and 2017 were, most likely, mixed, as I doubt they removal of structures and pathways completely would have been an 'advancement' over 2 years. Then again, I didn't make the video, nor did I make the city so who knows really...

I definitely see the improvements of your city in 2019. But the LUT looks much better in 2017 at least in my opinion. Your 2019 LUT raises the brightness in dark parts of the video - which reduces the overall contrast of the image. I guess you do this to increase the compositional balance of your images. Because it is easier to maintain image composition with low-contrast images. But I do not like this trend (which I also have noticed in photography and videography). It makes images much harder to look at. Also the details in the shadows may be lost.

Estoy impresionado como este juego a logrado ser lo que es gracias a la enorme comunidad, en donde el amor y la obsesión por el detalle puede lograr algo tan hermoso y único, los dos vídeos son muy buenos, gráficamente estoy sorprendido con el de la derecha, la corrección de color hace que se vea muy realista.

Textures in 2017 looked better, I think both versions have different unrealistic features though.
2017 City squares and roundabouts have somewhat immense propaganda monuments, seems very unopen to public,
which is very uncommon these days especially in democratic countries. City architecture these days
commonly aim to build open parks with symbolic monuments/structures that have public message,
although they might be less aesthetic(or astonishing?) than Immense abstract figures
2019 The overall layout and the structures are mainly American or New European, and some Northeast Asian
buildings bumped into it. I used the word bumped, because the way they blend in the city is unnatural and
looks very awkward, somewhat feels like seeing a Kangaroo in Alps mountains. Maybe because I live in Korea
and visited Japan/European countries several times.. I felt distance from reality, looking at 2019 city.
Note: I don’t aim to devalue your work, your work is wonderful, astonishing and eye-catching.

The 2017 looks better, the filter mode maybe looks more natural while the new one looks to overblow the colors.

2017 is more much detailed and more beautiful IMO. I was sad to see the beautiful campus from 2017 completely different and the roundabout has gone :(

добавь фильтр и решейд на второе видео и оно не будет уступать первому видео. многие тут как я понимаю путают цветокоррекцию с графикой) видео крутое. выше всяких похвал. все сомневаюсь брать ли эту игру или нет? жду финалочку когда её забросят разрабы а то с каждым новым обновлением старые моды ломаются и сохранения идут лесом(

Okay, in my opinion (I know this video is like 4 yrs old) but as I was saying.. the city in 2019 looks a bit more realistic, and improved, but some Features from the 2017 looked way better, as the capitol which was better cause it looked classic. Or some buildings in downtown. Apart from that I love this city :)

so traffic in 2019 is better but the landscape is much better in 2017
2017 looks nicer because of the shader settings. 2019 have more unique props and ingenious solutions.

2019 is looking way too vanilla. The custom roads are pretty much gone and so is the vibe that the city had in 2017. Unfortunately 2017 looked so much better.

5:58 toll booth was not out in 2017, so you mixed up the labels
there are tollbooth assets before the release of Industry DLC. They are just... asset, no more.

for those that say the left looks better, is because its shitty quality recording, cloudy and desaturated, meaning you notice less of the "gameyness". same reason 59fps and 4k movies look weird to you.

I like the high framerate and the video quality of the 2019 one way better
