4:31 Straid and Frampt share the same voice actor, Peter Marinker. In DS1 you could feed items to Frampt to get souls, including dung pies (shit). You could convert liquid souls to protected souls by purchasing dung pies as the purchase price from the merchant and the feed reimbursement price from Frampt is the same. So very risk averse players fed a lot of dung pies to Frampt.
FYI, the "let's shove shit in Straid's mouth" thing was besause items you can sell to Frampt are seemingly based on whether *he* likes them and he gives you 200 souls each for dung pies while a lot of weapons and armor are only worth 50.

Atlas the joke behind the lightning spears is that when original Dark Souls 2 came out, Lightning spears were so OP, I believe you could get up to like 90 of them and like 60 great lightning spears, it was ridiculous so then FromSoft nerfed them in the Crown of the Sunken King and then again in either Iron King or Ivory King, I can’t remember which

Baby's first dark fantasy lore, fucked gameplay (npcs aim-locking, cheap shots with no actual difficulty, long ass clunky animations), lazy designs (reused bosses, enemies with out heads cause they just ran outta time lmao). Honestly the best thing about DS2 was finishing it so I could see this then move on to DS3 (better but not as good as 1).
