Yes, there was more to this ; people were also saying that she was seen with couple of suspicious looking men entering the back of a van; and that a robbery happened at same time that she went missing; the people suspected that she might had seen the robbers and confronted them and they took her since she was at the crime scene;
The cop found the robbery and they passed the polygraphs test and also they still can't confirm Scott time line and he didn't want to take the test guilty what he is
All the stuff you mention came from his sister in law who's been advocating for him from the beginning. In regards to the burglary across the road, its one thing for not just 1 man but 3 men to abduct & kill a woman but to abduct & kill a woman who's about ready to give birth is something else entirely. It's also highly unlikely that a woman would confront 3 men she didn't know while in the process of committing a criminal act, let alone a small heavily pregnant woman (Laci was 5ft1)if she saw a burglary happening why wouldn't she tell Scott if he was at home,call the police or tell another neighbour. In a murder trial the state or district attorney doesn't have to show/prove the defendant was the only suspect who had the means,motive & opportunity but when the case is based on circumstantial evidence as this case was (& there was plenty of it) then by showing the jury they had the means, motive etc then circumstantial evidence can be more powerful than actual forensic evidence. On that basis alone Scott Peterson is guilty as hell. I say give him a new trial becos he will only get convicted again & his death sentence will be reinstated
