I knit...whenever I have the possibility...while listening to audio books, whatching tv or podcasts, riding the train or bus or when I am a car passenger. If I have the time I knit 10-15 minutes before leaving for work. I am addicted 🙈.

I ❤ your story about your grandson! I have a sweet story to share with you. I crocheted a small bear - his parents didn’t have much money to take him to get those stuffed bears- can’t remember the name they were pricey- I made him one- I also crocheted a red heart- he said a prayer for his bear we sewed him up and he is loved. That was 5 years ago he is 10 and takes “bear-bear” everywhere with him! Crochet/knit worthy for sure.

Have a nice trip to Rhinebeck ❤ I knit in all situations you mention, except during driving. This year I'm making a Temperature Blanket, which is so much fun to make. When people look strange at me, when I'm showing it, I say it's just a way of playing and having fun as a knitter.
I listen to e- books or watch podcast/ television when I knit or spin yarn 😍 or just look out in my beautifull garden 🥰

I usually watch podcasts while knitting. And I am very lucky to have a job where I have enough time to knit!!! Right now I experiment with self drafted patterns based on free ones at different yarn websites.

Hi Pia, loving your podcasts and all your projects. I love your new blanket. It is beautiful!! I listen to podcasts while I knit or an audio book. The book I'm currently listening to is called the Covenant of Water. It is really well written and I love it so far. I always make sure I have 20 gms of yarn to do cuffs, heels and toes for socks but I'm not sure exactly what I need for just a toe or heel.
I'm currently knitting another Sleep Suit for my grand baby. I find this knit to be boring and long but every baby loves it and this little one has been sick for a few weeks and can only sleep in this suit. So poor over tired mama has requested another one.

I just love the book ”Fresh-water-for-flowers” by Valry Perrin. A French book and I read the Swedish version. The language in the book is so beautiful.
When knitting I am either watching podcasts or listening to audible books. Right now I’m also working on a blanket, the alpenglow blanket by purl soho in their lovely linen quill. It takes some time but is a really lovely, soothing knit.

I love the bangs! Your grandson’s hat is looking adorable. I use to live in Plano, and I thought it was so cool knowing the places you were talking about. Thank you for saying it’s better a hat be too snug than too big. I got a beautiful knitted hat for my son from Vermont Sheep and Wool and was crestfallen when it was snug, but now I think it will be perfect. It won’t fall off while he’s playing, I just want to make sure his ears are covered. Happy creating 💚🧶💚
I ❤ your new hairstyle and granny blanket! I’m a crocheter and I also have to turn my granny squares on each round. I also try to crochet whenever I have a free moment but my favorite place to crochet is on a picnic table by a pond. I hope you have a wonderful stay with your family in Texas. ❤

I so enjoy knitting with your podcast. I wish I could meet up with you in Rhinebeck, but crowds are too difficult with my vision limitations. I know you will have a great time.
I would estimate that you could use between 15-20 grams for heels and toes. Afterthought heels might use less. I’d suggest weighing your yarn before you start your toe and then again afterwards. Multiply that by 4 to get what you would need for both toes and heels.
I always have a larger project for TV knitting and a few smaller grab and go projects. I have Christmas presents to cycle into my knitting. Fortunately they are hats and mitts, so I can take them with me.

Happy fall knitting to all, no idea about heel and toe yarn requirement, cannot be much, bu might depend and the heel type etc. any way I usually watch RUclips while knitting, fits in nicely with screen also showing pattern I am knitting on, Netflix etc the small screen becomes too small. But I was inspired to go and find an audio book

Hej Pia, Jeg bruger til Afterthought heel til størrelse 38 ca. 5 - 8 Gramm, til min mand størrelse 47 ca. 12- 19 Gramm. Jeg strikker et halstørklæde til min mand i Brioche teknik, i Merinoextra fine 70% og 30 % Yak, farve kode 01 og 36, fra Atelier Zitron. Til mig selv en Trellis i børstet Alpaka Tweed, fra Sandnes Garn i farve 2523, i hvid med Sorte speckels i. Den bliver bare så lækkert

Hei. Vet ikke hvor mye gram du trenger til hel og tå til sokkene dine, men det ser nok ut. Det er ikke mange meterene som skal til. Kos deg hilsen Laila
Sikke et skønt tæppe du er ved at lave, dejlige farver. Jeg strikker pt to små veste str 6 og 2 til mine børnebørn. Havde strikket den lille størrelse næsten færdig og da han skulle prøve den, kunne den ikke, komme over hovedet, argh. Jeg duer ikke til at pille op, men der kom heldigvis hjælp. Nu håber jeg den kan komme over hovedet 🤣

Sød hue. God ide med brunch alpaka. Jeg vil strikke huer til gaver og har en del rester.
