Tea can be complicated, but its hard to express the complicated areas of a subject, while inspiring interest at the same time. The greatest teachers rope you into the subject not just by teaching you, but by sharing their their own genuine interests and fascinations of the subject, especially when they enjoy sharing it. You arent a used car salesman, but someone who can offer the description of a dream, and then fulfill it with the most quality you can find, driven by your own fascination and journey to mastery. Your chanel works so well because you share yourself, and its a quality job every time!

The "plum liquor" you're looking for is called slivovice. It's pretty much the national drink in my country (Czechia). It's also where it was first made in its contemporary form (plum only).
Rakja is a general kind of fruit brandy, slivovice is just from plums.
I've seen stuff with 70 and more percent.

really enjoying this now, due to some odd circumstances I had about three cakes of tea left in a cupboard and this was one of them (all over 10 years old). Two of them were imported directly from china. This one though (midsummer light show) is by far the best, good dark liquor, kind of a floral taste to me, and very good feel good factor.

An idea for a tea masterclass video: How does the temperature in the cup affect taste? I have noticed that the taste changes as the tea cools down. I have also tried heating up cold brewed tea, and the taste seems to change in that case as well. It seems to me that the taste when I use a gongdaobei is slightly different from the taste when I pour the tea straight from the gaiwan into the cup, and if this is true, then it might be due to the fact that in the first case the tea cools down a bit more quickly. It is also interesting that the taste of different teas might be affected in different ways by the temperature in the cup. I personally don't like so much the taste of green tea when it cools down, but the taste of black tea and pu-erh seems to remain nice, and sometimes gets even better.

Storage suggestions? I'm stuck between strong suggestions to store in airtight glass containers to preserve the aromas and flavors (all volatile) such as would be used for long term storage of aged oolongs or in breathable clay/terracotta pots such as would be used in aged pu-erh shengs. Always looking for recommendations. I have the tong of Jade Star IV lightly broken up stored in glass. Thank You - great video - as always.

This tea won't go bad by allowing it to interact with air. The cake form has been used for thousands of years as a way to store and age tea.
