- I have decided to make an updated version of the previous intro to enthalpy video. In this one I include an explanation for why enthalpy can't be measured directly, even though this is not something you would need to know/explain at A level
Hello sir, Do all substances have positive enthalpies ? I thought enthalpy could be negative as well right ? Also thanks a lot for what u do , we really appreciate you 💌💌💌.
heya, for all the new videos you make would you make revisions to the index? Thanks a ton!
I honestly didn’t think anyone used that!
@@MaChemGuy Well ,I do! What a neat video, thank you!
@@michaelackerman8455 same here, our class have it on the moodle page, also nice name, aot reference?
Sir I have a question it’s been stressing me out the past few hours if you can help pls do. When a question asks for example the mass of Cacl2 was doubled what will happen to the temperature. And how do you know if the enthalpy changes too?
Another example is this
The student repeats the experiment using 50.0 cm3 of 1.60 mol dm-3 H2SO4 and 110.0 cm3 of 1.50 mol dm-3 NaOH. ( they doubled the vol but conc stayed the same)
Predict the increase in temperature. Explain your reasoning.
^please reply I still don’t understand it
Do you smoke? Cos I see a lighter in the video.
We have candles to light!
@@MaChemGuy Okay, so I don’t think you smoke.
