Fans : oh my god I love this guy so much I’m gonna stalk his page… Jon Richardson : right back at you hope your son has a nice 27th birthday and I’m very sorry about your dog that died of old age 1 year and 237 days ago
This is brilliant. He got me at his gig in Chester and it was hilarious. First half he took my Twitter apart and then in the second half started on my daughters. Total class
I saw this show live, but in a different city where he did a version of this joke with a different person in the audience. Same format, but different content, talked about her car breaking down a few months prior and some other stuff like that, as well as call out a few people who traveled to see the show from far away, so it’s definitely not just a one off joke for the recording. Genuinely my favorite piece of audience work
This is weirdly relatable. I'm in a really small fandom for a band. Like, small to the point that the musicians know a bunch of us by name. So now whenever people on the fanpage make weird comments I'm like "What are you doing?! Are you nuts, they're going to read this! They'll know it's you!"
@@roseszalay2869 American Murder Song. Essentially they do murder ballads based on moments in American history. One of the dudes is also the creator of Repo The Genetic Opera, and he has like a ~scary~ level ability of recognizing fans and remembering facts about them.

While is does get creepier halfway through, the first half almost feels wholesome and innocent. While other songs involve a lot of families killing each other, this one involves family staying together. Holding hands, praying for the return of Summer." Figured it fit the theme. Also, what a weird genre. Not hating, it's just *really* out there in my opinion, and I listen to a vast range of music.

Makes me want to go tweet him. Nice to know a celebrity who actually reads tweets from his fans. There are a lot who don't bother. They use it to promote their stuff and never even click a like when someone comments. The point of social media is to be social. That goes both ways. :) Jon rocks.
This is an almost perfect way to show people that we all share WAY too much online- and it’s also contradictory. You’re fine with sharing to the internet where millions have the potential to see it, but now it’s in person it’s embarrassing. The internet is weird as hell

I love Jon's routines. On a side note I've been a radio engineer for over 40 years and you couldn't light petrol with the radio signal that comes off a mobile phone even if you tried. In fact Myth Busters did an episode about this where they did just that with a whole stack of phones in a container with petrol..... nothing.
Brilliant 👏 👏 its so funny and true i would probably be just like Jon if I was him , I guess we don't think about how many notifications he must get when we all @ him and message him random stuff 😀 and he just sits and thinks about it because he is Jon 😆 🤣
Do they really tell you off for using a phone at the pump in the uk? I saw Jeremy Clarkson complain once but thought it was a joke. While theoretically it is possible for a phone battery to spark and ignite petrol fumes, I couldn't find a single instance of it actually happening.
I had to put this on Twitter as my husband had a load of those teen followers except they r all over 45 and more .Being French they put up fake photos .I made friends with 2 of them on Instagram.Single, middle aged and just a little bit sad.Trump supporters ( French women love him) they are catho, patriote and of course love LePen .I’m 1/2 French but more relaxed than the average French woman about my weight and aging looks must be my English no filter side 😜

This man is a genius... this may be an entirely new genre of comedy one day
I hope not. He's too charming. But if you like this, look up American comedian Robert Mac.
crowd work
He's not that good
"20 years is platinum, not tedium!" got me much more than it should've
this is like a reverse heckle.
Jon takes Audience participation very seriously :-D

Glad they've re-uploaded this, it was my favourite clip of his before they took it down for some reason
Imagine the personalised heckle put downs if jimmy Carr read his fans twitter.

That Ross noble impression was great.
