In my opinion there is a a synergy of four main things that make a car like this and others in its class exceptional and to be admired. Engineering, design, performance, and technology. It’s a beautiful machine…

Audis up there with the swedes in regards to interior ergonomics. I like how they gave you the option to choose whether or not you want the infotainment screen up or down, very nice touch 👍🏽

As I probably have said already, My Volvo S60 from 2001 also has a screen that goes up and down, but mine comes with a remote, that works for the stereo (the HU-803 head unit, with Dolby surround sound), RTI navigation and TV in the hideaway RTI screen (which no longer works, since they have stop broadcasting that way here in Sweden).
My 2001 S60 also has a button that you can press to smack the rear passengers in the back of the head with the rear headrests or simply fold them down for a better view out of the rear window.

Something i really like about the Audis i've been in that seems quite overlooked is the different kind of buttons in the interior, more like a mouse button compared with a keyboard button. Quite cool and unique

I like these videos a lot. I agree, the interior ergonomics are great - good clean lines with what look like very intuitive buttons. I think for my saab the thing I wish it had the most was simply the ability to reconfigure things like the door locking behavior via the onboard computer like your S3, rather than needing to make a whole to-do about it

Didn't know about the wiper trick. That's helpful, thanks. My 2020 S3 doesn't have power folding mirrors. I could be wrong but the Canadian S3 doesn't have the premium plus package, only technik. And no folding mirrors.

Super cool features! Thought of a good one that some high end cars have I heard about; Steering wheel and seat coolers. I forgot what make. Great vid. You could do demos for Audi owners to come with the owners manual😊. Thanks for posting.👍

Couple things I've noticed on my RS3. For launch control, you don't need to hold the traction control off button. A single press puts it in "sport mode" and then pulling back on the gear shift for S. I believe Dynamic isn't necessary as long as you do those 2 other things.
On the RS3, the rear doors have no lock/unlock feature, despite looking like they do. Only the front doors. Maybe weight savings?
And you can program in a long press lock button to roll up windows, but you'll need the pc software for that.

interesting; i can only seem to get it to work in my S3 by doing all of those steps!

@@AutoAutopsy I do have Unitronic ECU and TCU tunes, so that may change some of it, but I don't recall having to ever completely turn off traction either way.

Just curious and maybe this was covered in a previous vid, but will you be working on the Audi yourself or going to a specialist? Anyway, all cool features, good to know for an old skool Saabist as it seems this is also a very thoughtfully designed car.😎

What irks me with my 9⁵ is that while it was the more luxury car vs 9³, it is missing things like the windows down and up via the fob. Or a lot of the other little things the 9³ had.
Like the steering wheel controls don't light up in the 9⁵, but they do on the 9³. Feels like they really just didn't put the extras into the 9⁵ even though it was the higher level car.

yeah i think they spent more money on the 9-3's since they sold so much more :(
