Great vid Adam. Always nice to see you give some love to the 2 strokes!
You two should do a vid together! Come to AUS see how you go in boost town
great video, would be great to see how you adjust your suspension, the way you go about ie change clickers then ride a few laps etc.
i think that would help a lot of riders
Welcome back chef.. Carb tune and reed inspection please.
Absolutely loving your spark arrestor setup!!!!
I was waiting for someone to spot that! Bit of fly wire mesh roped on with brickies line. Just some peace of mind while the CR is cooking. Too much dry grass around the track. Time to find an enduro-spec silencer for the old weapon!
@@MotologyFilms Fresco silencers ;)
Love the addition of mechanical tips and tricks! Keen to see the CR become a bush weapon, I’m currently doing the same with a yz125
Best instructional I’ve seen. No over explaining or unnecessary tools. Nice and simple.
Excellant value with a few gold nuggets thrown in. Loved the on field under canopy style video aswell
really enjoyed that! how about fork seals ? any tips and tricks ect may make a good video
yeh fork seals good call.
Fork seals would be good but such a broad range of forks on the market.
Could easily destroy a set doing them wrong.
Fork seals FE 501.. 2018!
@@Franksssss 3 beers, one service manual and you're sorted
I always love your work, Adam. Still fingers crossed to see Toby (or Birch, or one of our southern Africans, Branch, Young) feasting in that kitchen.
I love how there is an extra syllable in aluminum. ☺️🇦🇺
Everytime you approach that jump I hear, "he's just gonna lay this thing flat, you watch..."
Forks have been mentioned. My next nemesis is lubing shock / shock linkage bearings. Don't have a spanner thin enough to get at them. Damned Euros... Great idea, I am no longer intimidated replacing a clutch. Excellent work.
Squish clearance with solder. Plug chop and jetting? Great upload and bring on some more dirt kitchen comps.
Good tip from Mr Ballard,
Push the rear caliper towards the wheel,
Gives you room to push the brake pedal down then you can pop a tbar in to hold it down and out the way,
Very fine! You make an old boy happy you do.
Keep all these bike maintenance vids coming
love seeing and hearing you ripping on the CR.. sooo good 👌
Nice to have you back. Would be nice to see some valve clearance tips and tricks. Brrraaap
Love this stuff, more of these styles of videos please!
Excellent video mate. I think going through all basic/intermediate maintenance that we all should be doing or will find ourselves needing to do would be great to see on the channel. Anything from changing a rear wheel, mixing the right oil ratio, to tuning our suspension and more. Love the educational videos and you executed it well!
Or I am also addicted to riding tip videos kind of what the mx factory is doing.
Very much appreciate your hands-on Aussie way of doing your work.....seems a lot of Americans have become primadonnas in terms of being afraid to get their hands dirty. I'm an old guy and did all my own work always. Hang in there!
Short and sweet! Good job 🤙🏻
Great vid, love that you do this with minimal tools, taking bush mechanics to a simple easy layman’s way of doing things.
Thanks for video. Perfekt explains how clutch parts workin, replacing tips and differents in clutch plates.
Waiting video about carb jetting stuff.
I’m ready for Motonomad 4!!!!!!!!
Another great content idea! It would be really great to see how to choose fork and shock springs based on rider weight, and how to swap them out.
That was gold. Thanks.
Awesome bike man
That job is easier than I imagined
Cheers mate
Glad two see ya sending it again on a real bike up the two stroke
Great and useful tip for me as i service my bike
Awesome thanks laying the bike down I will do next time and I’ll be happy to leave the tension wrench in the draw, I’ve never been confident to do maintenance out side the comforts of a shed - I’m that one that will drop clutch plates in the dirt lol. I’d like to see some bearing hacks 👍
Another great video mate love your work I been following your videos for years. Would be awesome to get Charlie Costanzo on the dirt kitchen to share a few tips on how suspension works and how to adjust it. Especially how to tune mx bikes in to enduro weapons like you did with the yz450f all those years ago.
Great video Adam, can't help think how fortunate you are, looking at the property you are on doing what you love to do, the back drop makes it for me, better than being stuck in a concrete jungle like a rat on a wheel!
Henson momentum clutch basket would be pretty cool
Lovely and very informative video !!
Bit of oil in the Tupperware is good for digestion.👍
Good advice!
Motonomad 4 Adam ! I'm waiting for your in Peru, come to ride bikes !🤘👍🏍⚡ Regards
See you man! awesome cr 250!
Great video, was not expecting an "in the field" repair 😊 Shows that it can be done cleanly. Love the way you wring the snot out of the old girl. What oil & premix ratio you run? Would love to ride on your track, nice and fast. 🏁
50:1 with Motul 800 . Smells good and burns clean Tony
Sweet iniciative with the mechanic tips!
Do a break fluid change with reverse bleeding next!
You should talk about what it would take to fully turn the CR into a woods bike and then document the process of doing that!
Great vid, mate. Wait...I'm Canadian...Great job, eh bud!
Good stuff!
Video about replacing the fork seals please🙏🏽 just got a 2001 Cr 250 so any video with the Cr would be sick
Im glad you are posing again love the content mate.
I finally understand how those gearboxes function 😅 thanks for a good demonstration!
You make everything so easy! How about swing arm and linkage bearing replacement?? Had a whole world of trouble doing mine
Always awesome content from your channel.
Thank you Adam👍
Great video
Another great vid!! Id like to see a lower end rebuild
your homemade spark arrestor. Good idea.
Did you refill the gear box without a funnel? What a boss . Husband material here ladies.
love it Riemann, brakes and bearings would be awesome next time. plus greasing the stem ect. catch ya at the enduros if you can be fkd going ;)
No fancy tools, shop, lift, gloves. Just get the miss'es tupperware, some oil and get after it. Did worry about the gusty wind haha
Thank you new dish
Tnx. One more Excellent video.
I would like to know how you adjust the suspensions, which added value we can get from you:)
I really enjoyed that how about rear shock rebuild / seal over haul. On the cr
Great work as always mate. Do an overnight camping/riding trip using only the CR to carry all your stuff 👍
And let the search for cr125s begin!
Actually quite interesting, and nice and short.
Great job man ;)
It would be great to see dents in the expansion chamber repaired
Nice, cant wait to see the weapon in action again!
Good video man!!!! Maybe do a solo sag setting vid
Thanks for this!
Thoughts on doing a raffle where the winner comes out to The Dirt Kitchen, gives a chance for the average weekend warrior to have a spin, proceeds of the raffle are donated the bushfire appeals
Would love to see a big bore 125 remember years ago it think it was Peterson racing in the USA did a 167 but can't find much about it these days it was ment to be a good bet bike and good for woods riding I think it was a kit you bought but with 150c.f. bikes now would it be easy or hard to go to 167cc
Hey @ARiemann1, thanks for the great content! Any chance you can share the hardware that you used - eg. which clutch kit?
i would like to see a vid on the best race bikes for kids from like 8-17 maybe
Great vid
@ARiemann1 would like to see how you bleed the air from the cooling system please
Either carb tech or 2 stroke top end tech ie squish etc
I want to see you do a CR80 crutch
Thank you! Cheers!
I will wait till You make a supermoto out of it... maby I'm wierd... but I whould Love it.
Love that cr man
Sik video brother even tho I’m quite familiar with this.. u make it crazy cool to watch.. see ya
Great Video! Get a Magura hydraulic clutch for that bad boy!
Hey Adam, what's the mesh over the end of the silencer for? Is it like a homemade spark arrestor?
awesome bro. Cracking a tyre bead in the bush ?
Great video! i'm intrested in maintaice of KTM 690 Enduro R, will be nice to watch if you can. Thank you
Can you please do a video of what’s in your camel pack and what tools do you take.
I’d like to see what you think the best and most useful mods for a dirt bike are!
top end rebuild
Replacing fork seals.
I would like to see you fully restored that bike
Can you do full fmf exhaust and muffler
Love this !! Can you show how to do suspension set up preferably on a KTM but CR will do 😂🤭
Rear wheel to an 18 inch, suspension, proper light kit
Tupperware and (dirt) kitchen makes sens to me... ;-)
How about a big bore kit? CR300
Hello, Excellent, I will share
Whats the cover over the silencer for ? 🤔

First things first - I need to get a bike......then I can change the clutch.....;)
