@@Rose_19911 He did indeed on Sky Sports, I remember it well because it shocked me that a so called Villan could turn on his own people like that. I think he’s spent too much time with the Sky lot and forgot his roots, and now it sounds like he is trying to ride the band wagon.

The point at the end about Emery is spot on. He is a no nonsense, genuinely honest no excuses Manager who wants his players to enjoy their football and relish the challenges that come their way. His philosophy is that he is there to help them meet their potential and he expects them to meet him half-way. This is why he is one of the best coaches out there. As we say 'in Emery we trust'

As a Villa fan I don't agree. Timing, fit is everything. Emery learned some really hard lessons at Arsenal and went on to great success in Europe and he has brought all of that experience to Villa. Martinez is similar in that he has said himself how grateful he is in reflection for his time at Arsenal, no hard feelings, he still has friends there and respects the club.
