Lawrence Apsey, the Quaker and retired Boston lawyer who co-founded the Quaker-derived laboratory peacemaking method called 'Alternatives to Violence' (AVP) confirmed to me when I trained with him in the 1970s that this is the AVP theme song. Uncounted thousands of people have heard this song and sung it together, especially in prisons where AVP has mostly been taught for half a century. I sang this song in 2004 in the 'flagship' US maximum security prison in Leavenworth, Kansas during Peacemaking and Conflict Transformation (PACT), a White House funded project that I originated and organized using AVP and Diné (Navajo) methods.
My Favorite song ever. I listen to this song anytime I want to get "grounded".
I first heard this song August 1993 at the end of a 35 hour intensive known as "The Life Training Weekend"... I remember sobbing; I could barely stand... "It's In Everyone of Us" was the perfect song at the perfect moment... Thank you...🙏💛🙏

It begins by saying that this book is "for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; for aquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young." As you read further it tells us that "the fear of the Lord (a loving reverence of God that includes submission to his lordship and to the commands of his word) is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10

You haven't lost your vocal chops, David. WOuld appreciate some info on the video / images.
This is great but it was much more powerful when we just saw the people's faces - it's a distraction from the message to have the singer in the middle of the screen hopping around.
This is the song we sing every Sunday at church and I wish it was your voice not the remake we have with is horrible.
