Love the video but you needed to apply the deep conditioner to soaking wet hair. The product works very well with water and on soaking wet hair. Whitney explain this on channel and other youtubes as well.
+1 on that. I love this Deep Conditioner… it’s one of the best and I have just about tried them all. Try again on soaking wet hair and sub section your four sections when doing so. My fingers just glides through my strains effortlessly and my hair is extremely moisturized! Give it a second shot :)

Whitney made a video last month saying that she applies the deep conditioner on damp, not wet hair. She does it outside of the shower.

@@luxemommy try getting your cuticles open first in a steamy shower use cap and make sure hair is detangled well before application this treatment tends to set the curls during conditioning.

I am a new subscriber. Whitney did a video on how to use her products. She suggested using the leave in as a rinse out conditioner after shampooing deep conditioning.
Maybe you’ll give her products another try. All in all, a good product review video.
Thanks so much for subscribing! I will say now I love the shampoo. When I need a good clarifying shampoo it’s my go to! But I follow up with one of my fave deep conditioners after.
You gotta use water with the deep conditioner. Spraying water activates the product more

@@luxemommy i forgot the name of the lady i watched but she basically said the same thing you did about the application process until she sprayed more water on her hair, to which she then said that the application was very good. I'd definitely watch a video of you trying it again!
This deep conditioner is everything for my hair. Definitely needs to be on wet hair. Do not towel dry or squeeze water out. I know products work differently for everyone though. I use the shampoo only once when I need a deep clean without stripping.
I have tried it and loved it. My hair was soaking wet in the shower and works best with very wet hair.
@@luxemommy Friend you’re not tripping. I’ve tried the DC on soaking wet and damp hair and it did not deliver on the moisture for me either. I was disappointed as well especially since it hyped up the hyaluronic acid ingredient. I hate returning products because I hate going in stores. So what I did was mix some of the leave-in with the DC to deep condition my hair and that product combo did the trick.
I made a mistake and used the black shampoo along with a henna treatment. It left my hair STRIPPED. I do like the shampoo, but haven't tried the rest of the products for the simple fact that I had enough products and I wasn't sure if it was going to work for my thin 4C hair. But thanks for the review.

Facts, it’s such a process to find what works and what doesn’t work!
Your hair was shiny and bouncy after using the deep conditioner. Try it again using only the recommended amount. You may have applied way too much (you said it was laying on top of your hair).

Honestly I think it changes.. So I’m not really sure!
I used the shampoo and I feel it leaves my hair very stripped, I don’t think I will be repurchasing. I don’t like my hair to feel stripped
Stripped is a Perfect word to describe how it felt!! I won’t be repurchasing!

Feels like this is a misrepresentation. Deep conditioners don't particularly give slip and a little does go a long way and you steam.
Thanks for watching!! This is NOT an ad. My review was authentic to my experience as a customer. I’ve had other deep conditioners provide slip and honestly prefer it that way. With hair products I think it’s all about personal preference anyway!
