Thankyou for this I am also desi trying to learn and get into cyber security love that a part from goray yotubers some one from us is also doing a walk trough 🙌
Thanks for an interesting topic. I got confused at the end because even though the path to the firmware parts was shown to me after the extraction, I could not find it in the FMK folder. Any clues as to why, please? Also, I was wondering whether the firmware encryption keys remained the same (1.0 --> 2.2) just for the sake of this exercise or how does this work in the real world? I assume they wouldn't stay the same so how do people go about it? Thank you very much!!!
Binary I am referring to is the program / software / application / firmware that we extracted and want to analyze - paraphrase is the password, you can say. Which is needed apart from private and public key.
Sorry mate but in the video I couldn't see the entire commands used. Being new to this, I'm very far away of the results and I had to guess what is the complete command.
Hey, sorry about that - can you point out the timestamp where the command is not visible? All commands I have used are mentioned in the task. Can you turn the video quality to HD ?
22:21 why do we find it there ? I didnt really understand what exactly the questions even asks us to do besides blindy copy paste the command and search for version numbers
Thank you! Your walkthroughs are some of the best of this event!
Super appreciate yet another walktthrough. Easy enough from the guide but I appreciate the extra details I can get watching your videos
Thank you for being an excellent teacher of this!
Thanks again!

At 12:06 what do you mean with task above? Another day in the Advent of Cyber?
The password mentioned in the same task above - which is 'Santa1010'
I like the way you do thinghs and I have two questions: what is a binary and what is a paraphrase?

UNABLE TO FIND ROOTFS
I think u should try the password Santa1010 when they asked for root password to extract firmware1
