Not only are they together constantly, but Korean culture is very different than ours. Friends hug, hold hands, cling on each other there. It’s super normal to be touchy with each other there. That’s how you know how close someone is. Americans would be hella weirded out if their friend starting acting like that.
Nikki Shanahan I hate that too. I wish American culture was more like that. Everyone over here takes physical affection as romantic or sexual, when I honestly think we, as humans, need that type of physical affection, but it doesn't need to be taken in a wrong way. Their closeness & affection they show to each other makes me envious. It's definitely something Americans should try to incorporate into their lives.
That prank they pulled on him made me cry lol. Ah, poor baby really thought he did something wrong. So innocent! They kept it going for a long time too. I think for Jungkook it was just such a relief at the end to know that he wasn’t in trouble and that the other boys and their Manager weren’t mad at him. He was still very young at that time too. (The kidnapping prank makes me sad because the poor babies were so scared and couldn’t communicate well because they don’t speak English. But maybe it’s just because I’m protective 😂)
Sonnenanbeterin1991 Not when in comes to their close friends. In Korea I've seen boys holding hands and hugging each other same with the girls. But they don't really hug or hold hands with the opposite sex. Although last time I was in Korea I notice it's slowly changing with the younger generation. I saw more young couples holding hands and even hugging.
Second inaccuracy: Suga comes off as cold only bc he's introverted and reserved and sometimes makes savage comments, which all of them do, really, so it's not exclusive to him. He's actually a marshmallow that takes care of the others in subtle ways bc that's how his father took care of him, so he started imitating the behavior subconsciously. I wouldn't call him an asshole, he's just occasionally sarcastic and introverted and ppl who don't bother to look past the surface label him as cold. This boy wrote by hand about 300 personalized messages to give to his fans that were at a fanmeeting for his birthday. He ditched his family during New Years, after knowing Jhope for barely a few weeks, as soon as he heard that Jhope was gonna spend it alone at their dorm, so he came back with chicken in order to keep him company.
In K-Pop the positions have different meanings than what we assume. The positions are main and lead vocalists as well as main and lead rappers and main and lead dancers. In BTS, the main vocalist is Jungkook and lead is Jimin, the main rapper is RM and the leads are Suga and J-Hope, the main dancers are J-Hope and Jimin and the lead is Jungkook. The 'main' position does not necessarily mean that they are better than the others. For the vocalists, being the main usually means that you have a wider range than the lead or other vocalists, it could also mean that you have good technique or a unique tone. Main vocalists often get a lot of line in songs. Lead vocalists are usually the ones who can sing the higher notes, and they often have a smaller range than the main. The leads often get parts in the choruses for that reason.
Ranking goes like this is Main>Lead>Sub Jungkook is Main vocals and Lead Dancer and then a Sub rapper. RM is Main rapper And Jhope and Jimin are main dancers. (Jhope, Jimin, and Jungkook make up the dance line)
YJ Cho I once commented saying Jimin was the lead with Jungkook and everyone got on me telling me to edit my comment because Jhope and Jimin were both main 😂 so atm I’m very confused

In Korean culture more closer u are more physical contact is aloud. Friends are cool with one another, hugging, piggyback ride is nothing out of ordinary. Man mealiness is not affected by those things. But not forget that BTS and many other idols groups are even more close to each other. For example BTS lived for years in one room, just to get by. So the fact is, they had to adapt, and ditched any shyness, prejudice about each other they might have had at first long ago. When u live in small space with six other people, u have to eventually forget your personal space, or go insane. After living together for years, i guess now they know about each other more, then they ever wanted to know. So for me seeing them touch each other without any hesitation, when for others it may seem gay, only show that they don't have anything to hide and be afraid off. Man who is comfortable enough with his sexuality, that he don't feel need to show of his manliness,by avoiding everything that could even give a hint of his behavior seem gay, is quite refreshing. And even if some of then turn out to be homosexuals, u don't see any of them acting uncomfortable with other person touches. BTS Brotherhood is amazing thing to see. Just heads up, u gonna see few times of them almost kiss each other, but that is part of the punishments after they loose challenges. So don't take it too seriously. U can see similar things in Korean media too. They are big on playing games and creative with most funniest and most humiliating punishments they can think of. Boy, they like to make looser suffer lol

I think people just perceive Suga as being cold and super serious when they are new getting into BTS or don't know them that well, once you get to know him you can see that he's not that way at all. He is very sarcastic and has kind of a dry sense of humor, but he also can be really silly and carefree and he loves and cares for the members a lot. In a more quiet way, he'll do super nice things but not make a big deal out of it. You'll see when you get to his video but he's 2nd oldest so you've got a few to go haha. Glad to see you're getting to know all of these goofs more :)
Okay, this was my first video of you guys and I watched the whole thing and it was a great reaction. I just wanted to let you know that as you start watching more videos of them you will see that they are very close. At one point they lived in one room all seven of them when they started their career. They slept in the ONE room and shared beds and bunk beds in one room for a period of time. They struggled so much in the beginning that they used to even share meals when eating. So yeah they struggled a lot in the beginning. They have lived together for the past 6 years in the same housing dwellings only staying with their families when they weren't working or promoting. A lot of their families live in cities far away from them so they really just have each other as a family on a day to day basis. They are so close that regardless of their success just last December decided to stay living with each other. They had a choice to separate but decided to continue living together and moved into one of the most expensive housing developments in Seoul Korea. An interviewer asked V why don't they live separately and he told them they couldn't because they would be lonely and they feel better staying together as one. They are so close that Suga who is considered the more serious less affectionate one of the group( although he does have his moments of affection) actually said in an interview that he sleeps better when all members are under one roof. In their videos you will see them feed each other while eating I think that comes from the years of sharing meals when they were struggling. They will often compliment each other on their looks and say to each other how cute they are because they love each other. They will hug each other and touch each other affectionately because they are more family members (brothers) than members of a group. So yeah as westerners that may seem a bit odd but what you should keep in mind how much they struggled in the beginning, and had to share so much to get by. So yeah they are very close. Also in a lot of kpop groups if you react to more groups that is ... you will see the same behavior with both the male and female groups. Most of these kpop groups have their members become part of the group when they are as young. Some of the members become part of a group as young as 12 and 13 years old these kpop groups sometimes train up to 10 years before they debut publicly with their music. During their training period, most groups live together and a lot of them like bts live in a city away from their families at a very young age. They go to school and live away from the families training as a kpop group and are with their members so much that sometimes the members of their kpop group become their second family. The women kpop groups are super affectionate and close with each other which doesn't seem to bother my fellow westerners but so are the kpop male groups. Both genders are just portraying behavior that is a result of considering themselves more of family than band members. You will see this affection in a lot of the male groups because really they only have each other. The actually forming, developing and debuting of a kpop group is actually very different from how Westerns create a pop group or band. There is years of training and close proximate one can not really compare the two nationality industries. The sad aspect is that there are 100s of groups that go through the same process for years and still never get the chance to debut. Members know going into the industry the sacrifices and risk they are taking but the all do it because of their love of music and performing. That being said I don't want you to think bts is a manufactured group. They were created the same way as other kpop groups but they are one of the few groups that write their own songs. They actually are credited as producers for a lot of their songs and are heavily involved in the creation and production of whay we see and hear from them. So yeah thanks for reacting to bts they are one of the few pop groups that have made it big financially and globally which is amazing since they came from a company that was considered to be on the poorer side compared to other companies. These boys bts are so humble, talented good natured young men and I hope you get to know more about them. Also as a side note Suga can be very affectionate and loving to his member and you do see it but compared to the others its is not as obvious so that is why many people consdier him to be cold. But yeah once you get to know the group you will see how much he takes care of his younger brothers and you will see how much they respect him. thanks and sorry for the long response. p.s. Suga is just savage but he is the best brother, he cares for the members quietly, he had a hard time to express his emotion but you can see it from his action. He always put the other member first before him.
I'll copy/paste here later a guide I made for another youtuber. Some of the info in this series is wrong or biased, so yeah. Btw, Jungkook is allowed to be a brat and play around bc they all love him very much and don't let their role as older brothers influence their dynamics too much, but when it comes to serious misbehaving, you bet your as* that none of them are afraid to call him out, especially the older guys. He loves and respects the older boys very much. They might joke around and act like he bullies them, but there's always a sense of love and respect between them. He's also quite the softie. He wrote his first solo song dedicating it to the other 6 members and he genuinely suffers when he sees them suffer, ending up full on crying once because of hearing that his hyungs were having a hard time and he felt like he was sheltered from all that and couldn't support them properly the way they were supporting him.

In Kpop it's like main then lead..Jhope & Jimin are the main dancers...Jungkook is the lead dancer...Jungkook is the main vocal ..but position don't matter tbh for me..they are all good and different like Jhope his dancing is more on the hip hop street style and he can improvise and freestyle too..Jimin he is master of contemporary.he flows...Jungkook his speciality are sharp and strong moves and footwork..They can all do different dances types if need be or when they want to

Yeah, they're really close, they're like brothers. They've lived together for 7 years now, and in the beginning, it was just because they didn't have enough money, but now it's because they're so used to living together that it's weird not having each other around all the time. JUNGKOOK has the most manly aura I think out of BTS even though he's the youngest. He's very athletic & all around talented especially when it comes to using his physical strengths.

Its easy for people to watch the music as thats what people all over the world do, but when you realise you can understand more about them, who they are, what they do, how they live, eat, breath even. The introductions are important as they show the very different personality the boys have after when you watch music videos again you spot things. Then people get into behind the scenes footage or the game shows they produce. Even at award or music shows they have behind the scenes footage before they go on stage, then people do funny outakes on the boys. With so many fans you get some amazing people who keep making sure english is subtitled on them, that is why army is so wonderful and amazing for.

A few things this vid wasn't too clear on btw, was that he is the strongest, most athletic in BTS and is very known for that, has continually said he is the closest to Tae/V, who he says helped him gain confidence and feel free, although all the boys are as close as family- their own words, and he is the main vocalist, lead dancer, and sub-rapper, and is known as the "Golden Maknae".
Lead is like secondary, the main is the official one Jhope- MAIN dancer, lead rapper Jimin- lead dancer, lead vocalist Jungkook- MAIN vocalist, lead dancer. RM- Leader, MAIN rapper Suga- lead rapper Jin- lead vocalist V- lead vocalist and is slowly sliding in to the dance line so future lead dancer.

1. There are multiple 'leads' as you'll see or have seen. Its a bit confusing but it sorta makes sense. They have many roles each in the group like how J-hope is the choreography lead/head of choreo, RM and Suga write lyrics and produce. (Also suga comes off as an asshole but he is the opposite..youll see) 2. Jungkook still technically raps when they revisit the older songs in live performances. Sometimes during certain concerts they will perform their older music as a surprise. So they dont have new songs with rap parts for him but he still gets to rap sometimes lol 3. There has been no tour announced yet for the US. We are all just as in the dark on those plans as you. They are still working on their comeback so they wont be announcing anything till that happens :)

A lot of the members do multiple things! There is one Main for each category (Rapping, Singing, Dancing) and the rest are either Lead or Sub Main>Lead>Sub Jungkook is Main vocalist and Lead Dancer Jimin is Lead vocalist and Lead Dancer J-Hope is Lead Rapper and Main Dancer RM is the Leader and Main Rapper And then V - Sub vocalist Jin - Sub Vocalist Suga - Lead rapper Also, the Leader in Kpop groups is different than in American groups. They're not the "Main" in the group or anything, they handle more of the responsibilities of the group. Often the Leader is the Oldest, but if other members have more Leader-Like qualities then they will be chosen, In the case of RM, he is the only member fluent in English and one of the best at Japanese so Bighit chose him to become the leader. (He is also very smart and the most responsible one) Looking forward to more BTS reactions!
Jungkook is the Golden Maknae!! He can pretty much do everything..especially singing, dancing, rapping etc. Each member of BTS brings something to the team...BTS wouldn't be BTS without each member. They can all dance...they're always improving themselves through practice...but there's the dance line: JHope, Jimin & Jungkook. 8:37 what I love about watching interviews like this is seeing how much Jungkook improved in his English in such a short time & when they were here for the AMA's (I think these intros were made prior to the AMA's, or just shortly after). He's so much more fluent & can understand & put his sentences together so much better than he already did. Honestly, all the boys have drastically improved in their English. They're such hard workers. When they set out too accomplish something, they work at it until it happens. Love them so much.

Man, I wish you had finished out the series of these. They're all great. Some of the info is inaccurate, but overall, like 80% of it is correct. These kind of videos helped me a lot when I first became ARMY. I wish these specific ones were around when I first discovered BTS.
Loved your reaction to this. Alot of men find their closeness hard to watch. In the west we find it completely acceptable for girls to have close touchy feely friendships. We think nothing of girls doing each others hair or putting their head in their friends lap. Men tend to fist bump etc to show affection as anything else is seen as gay.We dont automatically assume girls are gay but we do with men. The culture difference in Korea allows men to have the same friendships that girls have in the west. I believe it is called skinship. Im not saying noone in the group is gay. They could all be gay or none of them are, but with Korean culture it cannot be decided by actions. I loved your reaction, most accepting and open I have seen yet. Just wanted to let you know that in Kpop there is a "Lead" and a "Main" position. You mentioned that you were confused as to what the other member's role was in the group since Jungkook was already Main vocalist and Lead Dancer (btw in the video you just watched, it mentioned that Jungkook was "Lead" singer but he's actually "Main". I think the person who made the video said that just to make it easier for non-kpop fans to understand) . But in Kpop culture, you can have more than one "Lead" and more than one "Main" For example, Jimin and J-hope are Main Dancers whilst Jungkook is Lead Dancer. The "Main" position is usually given to the member that has the most experience in that field or that the company sees having the most talent in that specific field. Jungkook- Main vocalist (he gets most lines because in a group that needs to sing while dance, stability is most important. He can dance intensely whilst singing his notes on tune without becoming to out of breath that's why he's main vocalist) He is also Lead dancer, because unlike the "Main" dancers, he may have not had the most experience but he is still able to keep up with the best dancers in the group, thus making him Lead. V- Vocalist, second visual. Jimin- Lead vocalist, Main dancer Rap Monster - Main rapper, Leader, Main composer and lyricist J-hope- Lead Rapper, Main dancer, Lead composer and lyricist Suga- Lead rapper, Main composer and lyricist JIn- Vocalist, official Visual Just wanted to put this out there since i don't think it'll be explained in these introduction videos. After you react to the intros in the Squishy Min Yoongi series you should definitely check out BTS from Nobodies to Legends by xCeleste. The reason they’re so close is because they’ve lived together for 7 years and grown up together while also struggling a lot. They are each other’s rocks and truly a family you won’t find a brotherhood like theirs anywhere else !

yes, they are very close. they also all live together(most kpop groups do) and have for going on eight years together. Jungkook joined the company when he was 13 so all the members say that they pretty much raised him. Jungkook's number one nickname is Golden Maknae (maknae means youngest) because he's talented in singing, rapping and dancing and from a very young age. It's a running joke that he's just good at everything he tries and it's the members greatest joy to find things he's bad at, lol! I'll explain a bit about the roles: So there can be several 'leads' or of a category in each group. Like obviously all of them can dance, but BTS has three lead dancers and Jungkook is one of them. Everyone overlaps in roles and help complement each other's strengths and cover their weaknesses. Like RM is not a very good dancer and struggles with dancing so a lot of times he dances on the sides or 'wings,' while the main dancers dance the center, but he's a genius rapper and lyricist and has a lot of leadership skills so he's still a major contributor to the group. Jhope is a lead dancer(actually known as the best dancer) and lead rapper, but also sings even though he's not a lead singer. He sings small parts and for a long time does the lower harmonies to compliment the lead singers. It's really interesting to learn about the dynamics of BTS and also Kpop groups in general. Everyone has pretty specific roles and each group is different. They have a lot of members to our eyes, but there's always a reason for every member and the number of members and what they specialize in determines a lot of the character of the group. BTS has 3 lead rappers to 4 vocalists which makes them a very rap and hip-hop heavy group , most groups with a whole lot of members are usually very good dancers and a dance oriented group. more members means in-sync choreography looks even better and they can do more complicated choreo

Maelyra - Wellll here’s how I justify it. I didn’t even know who BTS was until November when they performed at the AMAs. Jungkook turned 20 on September 1st - over two months before the AMAs. I never knew Jungkook as a tiny little boy, I got to know him as a whole ass mannnn lol I mean yes, now I’ve gone back and watched everrrrything and I’ve seen him as a lil baby kookie but that’s not how I experienced him when I fell in love lmao and like okay I’m 26 but shoot we both in our 20s and he likes older women so...........I have no guilt saying he’s sexy as hell.

You should really look up the show King of Masked Singer...you will see what Jungkook can do with his voice!!! And for Suga....watch BTS Bon Voyage Season 2 in Hawaii and you'll see that he really cares about his brothers...watch episode 8 where they each write a letter to each other...there you can see their love and admiration for one another!!!

The age system in korea is different from internationally; you're 1 when you're born and everyone turns a year older at new years, so depending on when in the year you're born you're 1 or 2 years older in korea. So basically when they mention their ages in videos like this they're younger than it says.

To see them as just pre teens and teenagers, into their early twenty 's that was alot of what was shown on this intro to JUNGKOOK /JK of BTS. But they have hung out with each other for over 10 years, and even though they have developed other friendships, they are still extremely close. Not only are they together constantly, but Korean culture is very different than ours. Friends hug, hold hands, cling on each other there. It’s super normal to be touchy with each other there. That’s how you know how close someone is. Americans would be hella weirded out if their friend starting acting like that.

Everyone over here takes physical affection as romantic or sexual, when I honestly think we, as humans, need that type of physical affection, but it doesn't need to be taken in a wrong way. Second inaccuracy: Suga comes off as cold only bc he's introverted and reserved and sometimes makes savage comments, which all of them do, really, so it's not exclusive to him. He's actually a marshmallow that takes care of the others in subtle ways bc that's how his father took care of him, so he started imitating the behavior subconsciously. I wouldn't call him an asshole, he's just occasionally sarcastic and introverted and ppl who don't bother to look past the surface label him as cold.
This boy wrote by hand about 300 personalized messages to give to his fans that were at a fanmeeting for his birthday. He ditched his family during New Years, after knowing Jhope for barely a few weeks, as soon as he heard that Jhope was gonna spend it alone at their dorm, so he came back with chicken in order to keep him company.
In K-Pop the positions have different meanings than what we assume. The positions are main and lead vocalists as well as main and lead rappers and main and lead dancers. In BTS, the main vocalist is Jungkook and lead is Jimin, the main rapper is RM and the leads are Suga and J-Hope, the main dancers are J-Hope and Jimin and the lead is Jungkook. The 'main' position does not necessarily mean that they are better than the others. For the vocalists, being the main usually means that you have a wider range than the lead or other vocalists, it could also mean that you have good technique or a unique tone. Main vocalists often get a lot of line in songs. Lead vocalists are usually the ones who can sing the higher notes, and they often have a smaller range than the main. The leads often get parts in the choruses for that reason.

In Korean culture more closer u are more physical contact is aloud. Friends are cool with one another, hugging, piggyback ride is nothing out of ordinary. Man mealiness is not affected by those things. But not forget that BTS and many other idols groups are
even more close to each other. For example BTS lived for years in one room, just to get by. So the fact is, they had to adapt, and ditched any shyness, prejudice about each other they might have had at first long ago. When u live in small space with six other people, u have to eventually forget your personal space, or go insane. After living together for years, i guess now they know about each other more, then they ever wanted to know. So for me seeing them touch each other without any hesitation, when for others it may seem gay, only show that they don't have anything to hide and be afraid off. Man who is comfortable enough with his sexuality, that he don't feel need to show of his manliness,by avoiding everything that could even give a hint of his behavior seem gay, is quite refreshing. And even if some of then turn out to be homosexuals, u don't see any of them acting uncomfortable with other person touches. BTS Brotherhood is amazing thing to see.
Just heads up, u gonna see few times of them almost kiss each other, but that is part of the punishments after they loose challenges. So don't take it too seriously. U can see similar things in Korean media too. They are big on playing games and creative with most funniest and most humiliating punishments they can think of. Boy, they like to make looser suffer lol

I think people just perceive Suga as being cold and super serious when they are new getting into BTS or don't know them that well, once you get to know him you can see that he's not that way at all. He is very sarcastic and has kind of a dry sense of humor, but he also can be really silly and carefree and he loves and cares for the members a lot. In a more quiet way, he'll do super nice things but not make a big deal out of it. You'll see when you get to his video but he's 2nd oldest so you've got a few to go haha. Glad to see you're getting to know all of these goofs more :)
Okay, this was my first video of you guys and I watched the whole thing and it was a great reaction. I just wanted to let you know that as you start watching more videos of them you will see that they are very close. At one point they lived in one room all seven of them when they started their career. They slept in the ONE room and shared beds and bunk beds in one room for a period of time. They struggled so much in the beginning that they used to even share meals when eating. So yeah they struggled a lot in the beginning. They have lived together for the past 6 years in the same housing dwellings only staying with their families when they weren't working or promoting. A lot of their families live in cities far away from them so they really just have each other as a family on a day to day basis. They are so close that regardless of their success just last December decided to stay living with each other. They had a choice to separate but decided to continue living together and moved into one of the most expensive housing developments in Seoul Korea. An interviewer asked V why don't they live separately and he told them they couldn't because they would be lonely and they feel better staying together as one.
They are so close that Suga who is considered the more serious less affectionate one of the group( although he does have his moments of affection) actually said in an interview that he sleeps better when all members are under one roof. In their videos you will see them feed each other while eating I think that comes from the years of sharing meals when they were struggling. They will often compliment each other on their looks and say to each other how cute they are because they love each other. They will hug each other and touch each other affectionately because they are more family members (brothers) than members of a group.
So yeah as westerners that may seem a bit odd but what you should keep in mind how much they struggled in the beginning, and had to share so much to get by. So yeah they are very close. Also in a lot of kpop groups if you react to more groups that is ... you will see the same behavior with both the male and female groups. Most of these kpop groups have their members become part of the group when they are as young. Some of the members become part of a group as young as 12 and 13 years old these kpop groups sometimes train up to 10 years before they debut publicly with their music. During their training period, most groups live together and a lot of them like bts live in a city away from their families at a very young age. They go to school and live away from the families training as a kpop group and are with their members so much that sometimes the members of their kpop group become their second family.
The women kpop groups are super affectionate and close with each other which doesn't seem to bother my fellow westerners but so are the kpop male groups. Both genders are just portraying behavior that is a result of considering themselves more of family than band members. You will see this affection in a lot of the male groups because really they only have each other. The actually forming, developing and debuting of a kpop group is actually very different from how Westerns create a pop group or band. There is years of training and close proximate one can not really compare the two nationality industries. The sad aspect is that there are 100s of groups that go through the same process for years and still never get the chance to debut. Members know going into the industry the sacrifices and risk they are taking but the all do it because of their love of music and performing. That being said I don't want you to think bts is a manufactured group. They were created the same way as other kpop groups but they are one of the few groups that write their own songs. They actually are credited as producers for a lot of their songs and are heavily involved in the creation and production of whay we see and hear from them.
So yeah thanks for reacting to bts they are one of the few pop groups that have made it big financially and globally which is amazing since they came from a company that was considered to be on the poorer side compared to other companies. These boys bts are so humble, talented good natured young men and I hope you get to know more about them. Also as a side note Suga can be very affectionate and loving to his member and you do see it but compared to the others its is not as obvious so that is why many people consdier him to be cold. But yeah once you get to know the group you will see how much he takes care of his younger brothers and you will see how much they respect him. thanks and sorry for the long response. p.s. Btw, Jungkook is allowed to be a brat and play around bc they all love him very much and don't let their role as older brothers influence their dynamics too much, but when it comes to serious misbehaving, you bet your as* that none of them are afraid to call him out, especially the older guys.
He loves and respects the older boys very much. They might joke around and act like he bullies them, but there's always a sense of love and respect between them. He's also quite the softie. He wrote his first solo song dedicating it to the other 6 members and he genuinely suffers when he sees them suffer, ending up full on crying once because of hearing that his hyungs were having a hard time and he felt like he was sheltered from all that and couldn't support them properly the way they were supporting him.

Its easy for people to watch the music as thats what people all over the world do, but when you realise you can understand more about them, who they are, what they do, how they live, eat, breath even. The introductions are important as they show the very different personality the boys have after when you watch music videos again you spot things. Then people get into behind the scenes footage or the game shows they produce. Even at award or music shows they have behind the scenes footage before they go on stage, then people do funny outakes on the boys. With so many fans you get some amazing people who keep making sure english is subtitled on them, that is why army is so wonderful and amazing for.

1. There are multiple 'leads' as you'll see or have seen. Its a bit confusing but it sorta makes sense. They have many roles each in the group like how J-hope is the choreography lead/head of choreo, RM and Suga write lyrics and produce. (Also suga comes off as an asshole but he is the opposite..youll see)
2. Jungkook still technically raps when they revisit the older songs in live performances. Sometimes during certain concerts they will perform their older music as a surprise. So they dont have new songs with rap parts for him but he still gets to rap sometimes lol
3. There has been no tour announced yet for the US. We are all just as in the dark on those plans as you. They are still working on their comeback so they wont be announcing anything till that happens :)

When you were asking who was dancing that was Jungkook after he came back to Korea from taking classes in America. It is a video to show how improved since he was sent to America to become a better dancer :)
A lot of the members do multiple things!
There is one Main for each category (Rapping, Singing, Dancing) and the rest are either Lead or Sub
Main>Lead>Sub
Jungkook is Main vocalist and Lead Dancer
Jimin is Lead vocalist and Lead Dancer
J-Hope is Lead Rapper and Main Dancer
RM is the Leader and Main Rapper
And then
V - Sub vocalist
Jin - Sub Vocalist
Suga - Lead rapper
Also, the Leader in Kpop groups is different than in American groups. They're not the "Main" in the group or anything, they handle more of the responsibilities of the group. Often the Leader is the Oldest, but if other members have more Leader-Like qualities then they will be chosen, In the case of RM, he is the only member fluent in English and one of the best at Japanese so Bighit chose him to become the leader. (He is also very smart and the most responsible one)

Jungkook is the Golden Maknae!! He can pretty much do everything..especially singing, dancing, rapping etc. Each member of BTS brings something to the team...BTS wouldn't be BTS without each member. They can all dance...they're always improving themselves through practice...but there's the dance line: JHope, Jimin & Jungkook. There's also the rap line: RM, Suga & JHope...vocal line: Jin, Jimin, Taehyung/V & Jungkook. Can't wait until you react to all the intros! Each member is so unique & amazingly talented!! I wouldn't say that Suga is an a$$hole...he's just blunt & straight forward...complete savage at time. 😂😂😂😂
8:37 what I love about watching interviews like this is seeing how much Jungkook improved in his English in such a short time & when they were here for the AMA's (I think these intros were made prior to the AMA's, or just shortly after). He's so much more fluent & can understand & put his sentences together so much better than he already did. Honestly, all the boys have drastically improved in their English. They're such hard workers. When they set out too accomplish something, they work at it until it happens. Love them so much.

Man, I wish you had finished out the series of these. They're all great. Some of the info is inaccurate, but overall, like 80% of it is correct. These kind of videos helped me a lot when I first became ARMY. I wish these specific ones were around when I first discovered BTS.
Loved your reaction to this. Alot of men find their closeness hard to watch. In the west we find it completely acceptable for girls to have close touchy feely friendships. We think nothing of girls doing each others hair or putting their head in their friends lap. Men tend to fist bump etc to show affection as anything else is seen as gay.We dont automatically assume girls are gay but we do with men. The culture difference in Korea allows men to have the same friendships that girls have in the west. I believe it is called skinship. Im not saying noone in the group is gay. They could all be gay or none of them are, but with Korean culture it cannot be decided by actions. I loved your reaction, most accepting and open I have seen yet. Because, whatever their sexual preference....they are still brilliant at what they do. Keep you your great reactions, my favourite channel :)
Just wanted to let you know that in Kpop there is a "Lead" and a "Main" position. You mentioned that you were confused as to what the other member's role was in the group since Jungkook was already Main vocalist and Lead Dancer (btw in the video you just watched, it mentioned that Jungkook was "Lead" singer but he's actually "Main". I think the person who made the video said that just to make it easier for non-kpop fans to understand) . But in Kpop culture, you can have more than one "Lead" and more than one "Main"
For example, Jimin and J-hope are Main Dancers whilst Jungkook is Lead Dancer. The "Main" position is usually given to the member that has the most experience in that field or that the company sees having the most talent in that specific field.
Jungkook- Main vocalist (he gets most lines because in a group that needs to sing while dance, stability is most important. He can dance intensely whilst singing his notes on tune without becoming to out of breath that's why he's main vocalist) He is also Lead dancer, because unlike the "Main" dancers, he may have not had the most experience but he is still able to keep up with the best dancers in the group, thus making him Lead.

After you react to the intros in the Squishy Min Yoongi series you should definitely check out BTS from Nobodies to Legends by xCeleste. The reason they’re so close is because they’ve lived together for 7 years and grown up together while also struggling a lot. They are each other’s rocks and truly a family you won’t find a brotherhood like theirs anywhere else !
SUGA is my Bias. Suga may look or seem cold hearted but like JHOPE said “no one can beat Suga when it come thinking of the us (members)”. Suga is a deep person. He really is a softie when you dig his personality more.

yes, they are very close. they also all live together(most kpop groups do) and have for going on eight years together. Jungkook joined the company when he was 13 so all the members say that they pretty much raised him.
Jungkook's number one nickname is Golden Maknae (maknae means youngest) because he's talented in singing, rapping and dancing and from a very young age. It's a running joke that he's just good at everything he tries and it's the members greatest joy to find things he's bad at, lol!
I'll explain a bit about the roles: So there can be several 'leads' or of a category in each group. Like obviously all of them can dance, but BTS has three lead dancers and Jungkook is one of them. Everyone overlaps in roles and help complement each other's strengths and cover their weaknesses. Like RM is not a very good dancer and struggles with dancing so a lot of times he dances on the sides or 'wings,' while the main dancers dance the center, but he's a genius rapper and lyricist and has a lot of leadership skills so he's still a major contributor to the group. Jhope is a lead dancer(actually known as the best dancer) and lead rapper, but also sings even though he's not a lead singer. He sings small parts and for a long time does the lower harmonies to compliment the lead singers.
It's really interesting to learn about the dynamics of BTS and also Kpop groups in general. Everyone has pretty specific roles and each group is different. They have a lot of members to our eyes, but there's always a reason for every member and the number of members and what they specialize in determines a lot of the character of the group. BTS has 3 lead rappers to 4 vocalists which makes them a very rap and hip-hop heavy group , most groups with a whole lot of members are usually very good dancers and a dance oriented group. more members means in-sync choreography looks even better and they can do more complicated choreo

Some corrections and info regarding yalls comments and stuff - that very last clip with him in the fake mustache isn’t his voice lmaoooo it’s him pretending to sing someone else’s song. If you really want to hear how killer his voice is - check out his cover of Justin Bieber’s 2U. He sings it in English and everything.
& not to be dramatic but yeah Jungkook can handle the weight of V on his back while performing, and probably the rest of the group on his back at the same time too lol he’s the youngest but most physically strong and athletic one in the whole group.
I don’t think this introduction video does Jungkook justice at all. The members in the group have all collectively said that Jungkook is the most talented and the funniest.

I never knew Jungkook as a tiny little boy, I got to know him as a whole ass mannnn lol I mean yes, now I’ve gone back and watched everrrrything and I’ve seen him as a lil baby kookie but that’s not how I experienced him when I fell in love lmao and like okay I’m 26 but shoot we both in our 20s and he likes older women so...........I have no guilt saying he’s sexy as hell.

And for Suga....watch BTS Bon Voyage Season 2 in Hawaii and you'll see that he really cares about his brothers...watch episode 8 where they each write a letter to each other...there you can see their love and admiration for one another!!!

Might as well mention it now cos I always feel myself needing to explain when I see reaction vids like this. The age system in korea is different from internationally; you're 1 when you're born and everyone turns a year older at new years, so depending on when in the year you're born you're 1 or 2 years older in korea. So basically when they mention their ages in videos like this they're younger than it says.

To see them as just pre teens and teenagers, into their early twenty 's that was alot of what was shown on this intro to JUNGKOOK /JK of BTS. But they have hung out with each other for over 10 years, and even though they have developed other friendships, they are still extremely close. Being so much like brothers, I believe has given them that sense of loyalty and responsibility to each other. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊
