Oh my goodness! I finally was able to get it on the spindle and keep it on. Not sure what was done differently. Your instruction was very helpful. I was about to break my spindle. Learning online with learning disabilities has been a challenge.

I received my first supported spindle today and have been scanning RUclips all afternoon for tutorials. Yours was the first one that made me understand the principles. Thank you so much ❤

This IS the best one I've seen. I was getting really frustrated because none of the others talk about the hand over the top. I couldn't understand why the fiber was twisting all the way up. Thanks so much!!

I've been watching a ton of supported spindle videos recently trying to find some resources for my partner to learn with and this one is so so good ! You talk about several important things (posture, practicing spinning the spindle without fiber first, etc) that I havent seen other videos touch on, and I really think it's the small stuff that makes the difference with learning supported, as its such a subtle tool. Really helpful video, thank you for making it !

Thank you. I have a friend who loaned me a stable spindle and some fiber and spent time showing me how to use it. Of course as soon as I got home, I promptly forgot every thing she showed me. This is a great video and makes me even more excited to work at this new hobby.

This is such a wonderful tutorial on supported spindling. I really appreciate the way you have broken each step down to the basics, and how you explain the purpose of each step. I hope you're able to turn and sell some spindles in the not too distant future. Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial.

When I started knitting, spinning on a spindle, spinning cotton, spinning on a wheel... I always made a habit of doing some thorough research before getting all of the materials, so I could start with a little more confidence and information. Now that I'm interested in support spindles, I'm doing the same thing. Just wanted to say thanks for the video! It's clear and helpful. I actually hope I can buy one of your spindles someday :) Good luck with your work!

Fantastic tutorial. I am a beginning spinner. I wish I had seen this a long time ago, I wouldn't have put off learning to spin for such a long time. Too many resources assume basic knowledge, so it's nice to see someone beginning at zero. Fiber drafting is another area where basic knowledge is assumed.

I thank you for explaining simply and clearly the method we need to know! I like how this yarn just flows onto the spindle I hope to one day get a support spindle and have a go of it! Thanks to you I may try it! The spinning and winding seem so fluid and almost effortless , although I see a lot is going on there! How do you ply this yarn straight from the spindle maybe using a spindle holder? Where did you get the spindle you are using? TFS!!
