Friendly Common Darters at the Lake

i try and try and try to get one of these on film but never see one just resting new friend here

They are sometimes surprisingly still if you also stand still and resist the temptation to follow them as they often return to the same perches. They are also less active at certain times of the day when they are not trying to catch insects.
