+Eoghan Colgan I think it's because of the cliche of people's political views shifting to the right as they get older. Such an amazing sketch altogether anyway.
Must have seen this at least 20 times and only now I noticed about 2:00 there is a sign on the blackboard with what appears to be a chant lyrics: *THERE ARE FIVE PINS IN A NEW SHIRT,* *REMOVE THEM ALL AND IT WON'T HURT* *IF YOU FORGET THE COLLAR* *YOU'RE BOUND TO HOLLER* *THERE ARE FIVE PINS IN A NEW SHIRT* It's brilliant, wonder what's the backstory (I've seen all the released deleted scenes from this sketch and this wasn't included, maybe it's an easter egg?)
I remember a couple of years ago telling my then 14 year old niece how to assess the tax deductibility of the expenses of running a home office and the pros and cons of writing off equipment purchase costs through annual depreciation. She ran out of the room with her hands over her ears. Am I a bad man?
It's interesting how kids think adulthood is some kind of alternate mode of being (I thought the same when I was young). But it's not; you're pretty much exactly the same. It's just you have to physically start doing stuff that needs doing. All the time.
By the way (and you weren't to know this) but I don't like the abbreviated term 'lol'. I think it's saa-aaad. And aren't you forgetting about Time Trumpet? Are you imlying this generation of comics, having bourne fruit, will now wither and die. Are you the portent of doom for the great satrisits of our age? For the sake of us all I hope you're incorrect on that score, certainly.
This is the best comedy sketch I have ever seen LOVE IT ovavvuuuu!!
I like how Armando's wearing a bald wig that looks identical to his real hair.
Hahahaha, can't even hear the rest of it for laughing at "an acceptable pasta sauce!"
Wish Armando the Great Adult had given me this lecture when I was young.
The Guardian/Daily Telegraph joke, brilliant!
Messofanego I don't get that joke but it seems like something id enjoy. can you explain it?

Indeed, indeed - the acceptable pasta sauce moment is just genius... laughed my nads off at this.
Hang on a sec! Ianucci's "Thick of It" is widely regarded as genius. I swear that post-dates The Armando Ianucci Shows.
