We had a girl in the office get triggered and she said she needed a mental health day. The boss man told her she was fired because he didn't need crazy people. Been that way for 35 years.
I remember back in the mid 80's a new young female started work at the club I worked at doing casual hours, after a couple of weeks she went in to see the boss and asked for a week off because she was feeling stressed after breaking up with her boyfriend. The boss said "sure you can have the week off......and you can have the next 51 weeks off as well"😅😄😂

I suffer from static encephalopathy, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, double vision (nerve 6th palsy in the left eye), migraines, back pain and neck pain. Got my teeth removed so i dont have that problem anymore but i do have the shitty cheap dentures problem. The encephalopathy has the potential to bring on seizures and i keep them relatively under control as well as the flips, migraines, back pain and stress with marijuana and "hygiene" and dropped all my drugs 10 years ago. I did get fired at dunkin donuts though because a customer called in and complained about my talk about weed when with customers i only really discussed CBD which is legal in all the states and the employees I talked about with (aside sara who was totally against it and also really touchy feely with everyone) smoked as well and if I had my vape because it helps with the anxiety which builds up when I'm in public because I'm afraid of people i had it hidden and I would either go into the back or duck so no one could see me as i took a drag. The only thing that could have been considered even slightly offensive that I talked about with customers because it was a sit in and no one was at the counter; they did use marijuana in the 1930s to snag mexicans that were jumping the border and harry j anslinger was probably the closest to actual racist there is if you look up his comments about marijuana and reefer madness! That does make the government look bad but people also have to remember the government is people too and if they make mistakes they need to be told or else they dont know what they're doing is wrong and will hurt more people and if they keep going with it, which is why they try to stop it so much, they lose respect and credibility that they know what's best. They need that for people to listen and obey. I'm not going to listen to a plumber when he gives me like neurological advice (without references because I know my own knowledge, abilities, and position)

As a result, I was bullied, hit, spit on, tripped, whipped etc. One bully hit me with a tree branch across the legs. I came out of my dream fog long enough to warm him to not hit me again. He did, I snapped and went into berserker mode and only realized when I had been pulled off of him, that I had bloodied his head into the cement by repeatedly pounding his skull into the ground. I was less bullied after that. Everyone knows that redheads go berserk if pushed.

As someone who shares many of the Progressive "goals" but not means (eg racism to cure racism) I have tried to warn that their weapons of choice, especially public shaming, are VERY much double edged swords. The teacher union does not go to bat for teachers. I dropped my $65/month membership, and 10 other teachers on my campus joined me. I am hoping more teachers will follow. 30 years ago, the teacher union would back you up if your principal gave you a dirty look, but those days are long gone.
