    Do you know which position the GTO solver starts to open-raise EVERY suited connector in 6max? If not, download the GTO Ranges App and poke through the open-raising ranges (totally free) to find out! redchippoker.com/gto-ranges-app

    My favorite time to play small suited connectors; 5-6, 6-7 (other than in the BB) is late position with an early big raise and at least 3 or 4 callers but no re-raises. Most of the other players are going to have each others face cards leaving me a better chance of catching cards that work with my hand. That situation has really worked well for me over the years.

    Appreciate you putting this topic back up. Important to understand Pre (and Post) where the EV is + and where it isn't.

    why is 76s seeing some play in the full ring config but not 78s or 89s at 4:35?

    • @TheFilipaze
      @TheFilipaze 16 дней назад

      Not a 100% sure but it might be because if you have 89s and the flop is 10 J Q, there's higher chance to get beat by premium hands like AK. You don't have that issue with lower cards.

    Loved the content. A poker mentor of mine actually told me to “play JTs like it’s JJ pre, sometimes 4-bet in position.”
    It’s a bit tooo simplified, but he meant it as adding JTs pre for more preflop aggression, and stated that we also block hands like JJ or TT, usually can make weaker pairs fold pre.
    Would you agree tho?

    • @ThePokerBank
      @ThePokerBank  Год назад +2

      Cheers Rick! I think it's an interesting mantra, though I'd much rather block hands that tend to stick around instead of blocking hands like JJ/TT =)

    Isn't one of the biggest advantages of suited connectors that they do well against strong ranges? Especially the low ones have a surprising amount of equity (and decent realization) e.g. when you RFI and get 3-bet.

    • @ThePokerBank
      @ThePokerBank  Год назад +1

      This is where the SPR discussion from this video can apply outside of MW pots. Yup, these hands retain good equity (especially hot/cold equity), but if the SPR gets too small in 3! pots it can minimize the ability to actualize that equity.

    The thing with suited connectors is you’re always chasing. They’re gamblers favourite hands. If you’re willing to call big bets they can pay large. But most times they miss. Players who love suited connectors are the worst poker players to play 😂

    Don't set your hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. 1 Timothy 6:17 For God so loved the world that He gave His son Jesus (unto death on the cross) that whoever believes in Him will not die but have eternal life. John 3:16 Love y'all The consequences are eternal.
