WHERE DOES my 1KW transducer GO For OPTIMAL reading?

Yeah, where does it go? To get optimal reading.
The instruction manual says this.
The dude from the fishing group said “ UP! . My mate Bazz said “DOWN 5mm!”.
I’m confused.
YOUR boat is different from Everyone else’s, it rides differently, so unfortunately YOU have to learn where YOUR 1KW transducer best positions for optimal reading- ONLY By TRIAL AND ERROR!.
The truth is - You have to work it out!.
No one can tell you ( unless it’s obvious) but you’ve done the research so you know where to start .you know the theory.plenty of videos on it.
Here’s the thing- it’s just so difficult to adjust the original factory mount and so you can’t be bothered!!! Releasing the screws and Resealing every time YOU want a small adjustment.
The TI Jackplate makes height adjustments easier and coupled with the TM2 makes for the ultimate set up for finding that sweet spot.
