I'm glad "Chief Wahoo" is gone! It disappoints me that people, especially the ones with black and yellow skin would even want him. Why people of color as opposed to white ones? Yeah we have been historically oppressed, doesn't mean we are know. The people seeing the chief as racist are the only ones saying it's due to how he is red, while I and others just see him as our teams mascot. He's not a real person so it can't be offensive to an individual. The only people finding it offensive are white far leftists and "minorities" who think they've been through it but actually haven't. I wish the natives that do see it as offensive will understand we didn't mean it to be, and they can open their arms to it and take it with pride.
