I actually cant believe you guys got Nigel Marvin to do a voice over, gives me so much nostalgia from prehistoric park! The trailer itself was fantastic!
Hope Nigel voices a character in this, but even so, him just narrating this trailer is great. Also, Microraptor, Deinocheirus and Nasutoceratops are nice additions.
There is Nigel Marven...I...He was litterally a big part of my life when i was younger and he is one of the persons who make me want to study paleontology...I'm so glad he is in this game, almost cried. Thank you to make this game (sorry for my bad english)
Though unlikely, I like to think of this game as a sequel to Prehistoric Park. Both parks have similar materials to make enclosures, both recreate their habitats, and Nigel said he had a pet Microraptor! It's just a fun thought.

The fact Nigel Marvin is the narrator, honestly gives me goosebumps & brings back wonderful memories of. @@gentianadili7408 The reviews are mixed for JWE. Some people enjoy it and some hate it. I am utterly disappointed with JWE after watching countless of gameplay videos on youtube. None of them, even with all the latest DLCs, managed to convinced me to buy it. I feel that I can't enjoy the game because of how the dinosaurs behaved. Graphics looks superb but it's not being backed by good animal ai mechanics, because personally I'm a dinosaur enthusiast, I would like to see what the dinosaurs can actually do, not just look pretty. Hell JPOG did better in that regard, eg. there's herding behavior, velociraptor pack hunting, carnivores are able to miss while catching a prey, dino-fights can sometimes result in the loser fleeing not necessarily a fight to the death, these subtle details are ABSOLUTELY ABSENT from JWE to create the illusion of a good natural behavioral outcome from the dinos. In JWE, they honestly felt like they have no soul and just stick to their scripted routine behaviors like robots. As far as I know, there is no real in depth dino AI in this game. It is only basic behaviours based on a sphere of influence, with a lot you would expect missing. They do have some preset behaviours you can look out for, such as gathering round to 'chatter'. But other than that it is lacking, which will result in a boring game due to a lack of immersion, overtime.

This looks amazing and so breathtaking. This is Jurassic World Evolution, The Isle and Saurian all over again. I hope they bring in new dinosaur species in this because they look awesome.
There's already 52 species (including the one seen in this trailer) of dinosaur and cenozoic mammals. All of them would be released during EA. Those animals include but not limited to: - Allosaurus - Ceratosaurus - Diplodocus - Hyaenodon - Megaloceros - Velociraptor - Utahraptor - Ouranosaurus - and many, many more.
@@patrickcanto5001 agreed, I'm tired of being forced with the god damn contracts and the lack of freedom it gives, plus not many items and what not like decors, maybe there is when you get far in the game but holy shit is it a pain to at least get somewhere in it. Also may be a personal peeve but I absolutely hate the look of the pylons, they're a mess and look ugly af, maybe if I had items like trees and rocks which I can place but heccin naw.

@@dr.chicken6876 As cool as that would be I think it doesn't make sense to have an Arthropleura enclosure just like that because such an animal wouldn't be able to breathe in modern atmospheric conditions and it certainly requires a special enclosure.
@@Andrey.Ivanov You're playing a game where they bring dinosaurs back to life with DNA so ancient it shouldn't be able to exist with animals that lived in completely different environments than today when the sun was hotter, there was more oxygen, and where grass didn't even evolve until the end of the Mesozoic, but having a big insect that shouldn't be able to live in our environment is too farfetched?
love the little details in the Torvosaur run animation. The toes are straight when it runs instead of curving like a bird, it's more accurate. A little detail but one I love to see none the less.
@John Di Iorio it's its own game at this point something sharing similar concepts with other game doesn't inherently make them ripoffs I mean this offers fairly accurate looking dinosaurs which is rare for these sorts of games to start with and until it's released I feel it would be unfair to try and judge.

@Brother Captain Henbird There's a lot of things that JPOG did better than JWE. 1. Dinosaur behavior seemed more natural in JPOG. They didn't look so stiff and didn't repeat the same animations every 30 seconds, like they do in JWE. Dinos in JWE have almost no ability to turn while moving and whenever they do, it looks janky as hell. While JPOG would have the dinosaurs naturally hunting and chasing after prey, JWE has one repetetive animation for each carnivore, in which the prey usually just stands there and waits to be eaten. It takes away from the immersion and makes everything they do look incredibly scripted. 2. Dino escapes had more impact in JPOG. If you weren't already rich, a single dino escape with just a few human casulties could easily bankrubt you. The fact that all of the guests had their own names, preferences and needs also helped to humanize them so you'd actually feel something when they get eaten. I feel nothing when a random nameless guest dies in JWE from yet another copy pasted animation. I'll just lose a bit of money that I'll easily get back in a minute. 3. The weather... In JWE, you'll know that there's gonna be a storm or a twister every 5 minutes or so to create a situation in which a dinosaur escapes. It happens so frequently on certain islands that it loses all meaning and makes it ridiculous for the park to even be allowed to operate. A dinosaur gets out and eats a bunch of people pretty much every other month... In JPOG, you have access to the weather forecast for the next 3 months(or something like that). The weather functions more or less like it does in the real world. Storms and twisters are rare but if they happen, you better be ready. When you see a twister warning in the forecast, you know shit's about to get real bad for you. There are a lot more security measures at your diaposal as well to prepare for situations like that. This list would be longer but they've added things like herd behavior, dinos attacking the vehicles and stuff like that into JWE through post launch updates, so that's good.
@Brother Captain Henbird JPOG is overrated because of the nostalgia, look I played the fuck out of JPOG back in the day, but looking at it now it absolutely sucks. It looks awful the AI is worse than JWE's AI in many ways. Same thing goes for ZT2, it just doesn't hold up today. Planet zoo has a lot of room for improvement but it out performs ZT2 in almost every way.

I bought JWE on launch and played it alot but havent played since the Claires Sanctuary DLC. Is the game really abandones by now? I have no idea how the latest DLC was and are there any more contenr coming.

I am always going to accidentally call this prehistoric park because of the show called prehistoric park that I used to adore. Nigel Marvin brings back all the memories and chills from prehistoric park and the walking with dinosaurs specials and I love the look of this game. Thank you ❤️
What kind of Game Engine this game is using? i have a feedback, Shadow is low quality, too many Humans clones, no physics on hair, clothing and female breast, Low & near Draw distance, Why there's no Water physics, even an old PS2 game has water physics and colliders when dinosaurs touch it please make it into the game, i want to become a fan and my family, i hope you have a good day! 😃
It's hard to even compare these two but Jurassic World Evolution was a letdown for me all in all. Very few customization options so every park just feels lifeless at some point. I hope this game learns from their mistakes. Looks super promising and I will definitely give it a shot!

From this game's FAQ Q: Will the game be released on consoles? A: We currently have no plans to develop Prehistoric Kingdom for consoles. This may change in the future, but strategy/tycoon games are challenging to port, so it's not a priority.
If you compare their first trailer that came out in 2017 to this one... it almost looks like an entirely different game, they have improved tremendously.

@Brother Captain Henbird There's a lot of things that JPOG did better than JWE.
1. Dinosaur behavior seemed more natural in JPOG. They didn't look so stiff and didn't repeat the same animations every 30 seconds, like they do in JWE. Dinos in JWE have almost no ability to turn while moving and whenever they do, it looks janky as hell. While JPOG would have the dinosaurs naturally hunting and chasing after prey, JWE has one repetetive animation for each carnivore, in which the prey usually just stands there and waits to be eaten. It takes away from the immersion and makes everything they do look incredibly scripted.
2. Dino escapes had more impact in JPOG. If you weren't already rich, a single dino escape with just a few human casulties could easily bankrubt you. The fact that all of the guests had their own names, preferences and needs also helped to humanize them so you'd actually feel something when they get eaten. I feel nothing when a random nameless guest dies in JWE from yet another copy pasted animation. I'll just lose a bit of money that I'll easily get back in a minute.
3. The weather... In JWE, you'll know that there's gonna be a storm or a twister every 5 minutes or so to create a situation in which a dinosaur escapes. It happens so frequently on certain islands that it loses all meaning and makes it ridiculous for the park to even be allowed to operate. A dinosaur gets out and eats a bunch of people pretty much every other month... In JPOG, you have access to the weather forecast for the next 3 months(or something like that). The weather functions more or less like it does in the real world. Storms and twisters are rare but if they happen, you better be ready. When you see a twister warning in the forecast, you know shit's about to get real bad for you. There are a lot more security measures at your diaposal as well to prepare for situations like that.
This list would be longer but they've added things like herd behavior, dinos attacking the vehicles and stuff like that into JWE through post launch updates, so that's good.
@Brother Captain Henbird JPOG is overrated because of the nostalgia, look I played the fuck out of JPOG back in the day, but looking at it now it absolutely sucks. It looks awful the AI is worse than JWE's AI in many ways. Same thing goes for ZT2, it just doesn't hold up today. Planet zoo has a lot of room for improvement but it out performs ZT2 in almost every way.

I suggest going back and playing the game again. The animations in JPOG are horrible. The dinosaurs just wander around until they find something to kill.

I bought JWE on launch and played it alot but havent played since the Claires Sanctuary DLC. Is the game really abandones by now? I have no idea how the latest DLC was and are there any more contenr coming.

I am always going to accidentally call this prehistoric park because of the show called prehistoric park that I used to adore. Nigel Marvin brings back all the memories and chills from prehistoric park and the walking with dinosaurs specials and I love the look of this game. Thank you ❤️

i have a feedback, Shadow is low quality, too many Humans clones, no physics on hair, clothing and female breast, Low & near Draw distance, Why there's no Water physics, even an old PS2 game has water physics and colliders when dinosaurs touch it

It's hard to even compare these two but Jurassic World Evolution was a letdown for me all in all. Very few customization options so every park just feels lifeless at some point. I hope this game learns from their mistakes. Looks super promising and I will definitely give it a shot!
