The very first merge in this video is a "lane ends" merge, as indicated by the short-dash line going the whole length. This means the left-lane vehicle must execute a lane change to the right, and as such does not need to wait to the end (the last arrow) or stay aligned with the left kerb line. This is an important distinction because it gives right-of-way to cars in the right lane (compared with a true "form one lane" merge, where the lane markings stop before the end, with the car in front having right-of-way).
Merging onto the freeway should be a mandatory part of all driving assessments. I've driven in other states and countries and no one screws it up worse than people in Perth. Nothing worse than having to merge into 100kp/h traffic because the person in front of you thinks it's safer to do it at 60kp/h.
Hi sir I was wondering I’ve got a 2013 Hyundai i30 and had it for 2 years now and passed my test at Joondalup on 29 February this year the leap year and I want to know in a couple of years time when I’m on full licence what car I should change to cause there’s a lot out there but I don’t know what to choose to be honest and would have had it 4 years then

I don't understand why you should change the car if it's ok. Huyndais are great cars and can make a million kilometres if you look after it well
