At least that's as far as my remedial philosophy knowledge goes. Scrubs has an interesting take on the question. In one episode JD fucks up and a patient of his dies. And they use her organs to treat multiple patients of Cox. Ends up she had rabies that assuages the guild JD had but burdens Cox with guilt to the point he quits medicine. Great show...

About the trolley problem - as much as people say that they would pull the lever to save 5 people, reality is that most people wouldn't. I know that I would most likely just freeze up and my body would refuse to act. Even disregarding the philosophy
The Trolley Problem gets interesting when you ask the people who said "push the lever to kill just 1 guy instead of 5", whether they'd push a guy in front of the train if they knew that would stop it and save the 5 lives, and suddenly their answer is no, even though it's essentially the same thing!

If 5 people are stupid enough to stand in front of the trolley they are gonna "go" a different way if you save them... Don't save them they aren't long for this world

But the difference is that even tho my opponent finds brilliant move I still somehow checkmate them in the endgame XD. What was that, Levy? Go sleep a bit at least or take a nap cause health is more important than chess.
what if the 5 people originally getting hit by the trolley were there intentionally trying to unalive themselves and the one person on the other track wants to live?
Than it’s obviously morally correct to not interrupt, they gonna unalive themselves later on, so in the end of it you will be just a killer of that one dude who’s actually willing to live
