iKON had solid fanbases in Japan and Korea. But YG shipped iKON off to Japan because of more money. After BigBang, iKON was the biggest money maker in YG. iKON's 2017 comeback flopped hard and they were ridiculed. But they came back stronger than ever with Queen Love scenario in 2018 and was slowly gaining their old fans back when in june 2019 the scandal happened. Finally after Kingdom, iKONICS have started to support OT6 again and Koreans also are interested in iKON once again. You can see a lot of Korean comments in their last Kingdom performance and they were trending at top in melon, pann and twitter even though they placed 5th.

Finally after Kingdom, iKONICS have started to support OT6 again and Koreans also are interested in iKON once again. You can see a lot of Korean comments in their last Kingdom performance and they were trending at top in melon, pann and twitter even though they placed 5th.
