Ok, one correction and one thing to note. First off, the "double tap boost to lock in" thing is actually the "Quickbash" ability, and you don't get it until A rank. Second, Quickbash is an attack in addition to being a sustained boost, and it reduces the amount of boost you gain from drifting while active. You can boost for longer if you don't use the Quickbash, although it is useful for avoiding hazards and opposing powerups.
Another trick and tip is to get lawnmower and cut those weeds before doing a race so that way when you drive into them in a race it won’t slow you down instead it gives boost during a race
I have a question, I got the year 1 Drive pass with the awesome rivals edition i pre-ordered and I got the awesome pizza vehicle, but then there is on the PS store of the game a thing called "Premium Drive Pass Season 1" in wich says 'season 1 pre-order' or 'pre-purchase'. It includes the premium Drive pass season 1 and the awesome pizza vehicle (wich I already have). So I can play early that season, but i'll get a duplicate of that pizza vehicle I got?
Blitz are you still going to do customs for the vehicle creator in the game?, i think most people would love to see you try and make stuff with the vehicle customizer in the game.

Yeah refills boost meter and fixes your car if you had already taken damage
The drifting is insanely easy even for someone who has 0 experience on driving in games
