The future of port. Japan should embrace more automation in order to combat the shortage of men power.

+Doxie Lain Yes, they are robots. The president of this container yard is a former director of Toyoto.

Yes! but other than that, everything is automated. You can compare with that of Los Angels port.

      Mister Erbs one
      There is another added value:
      - maybe now it is slow, but this can be upgraded.
      - robots needs only properly maintenance and don't need vacation, don't need rest, don't needs breakfast brake, don't do mistakes, don't get late to work, because of traffic jam, don't need to take care of children and stay home, don't ask for increase payment, don't take bribe, can work 24/7 also in "bank holiday".
So, if you count this all time, you will find out, that now ,they are almost equal to human, on yearly period of time and it is possibile, to set up it faster with few clicks, without talking how difficult is that job, how hard is to do this, without trainings and mettings to solve problem, without not necesary costs.
And how can you see this now?
Is it simpler and faster? And what's if tell you, that with some time will be much cheaper?
