We immobilised her and took her to hospital. When I left her, I prayed to God that his healing light be upon that little girl and spare her those injuries. The Centurion made reference to his own authority, which is granted by higher military authority, and it is through the higher authority that he as a Centurion is able to issues commands that will be followed. So, in this instance, the Centurion was acknowledging that Christ was acting on the authority of God the Father, and would grant the miracle. So, the Centurion not only had faith, but it was based on an in-depth understanding of Christ's mission on Earth.

A worse crawl is when Jesus Christ turns to the crowd following him and says:: " I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel". That is to say all his family and friends and his disciples are inferior in faith to a Roman centurion! But he goes much further into the foulest depths and claims that "The children of the kingdom [i.e. all Jews] shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
