Hey John, have you done a video on the best t shirts and hoodies to start out with? I was looking at the Bella 3001 t shirt. I'm looking for something that's fitting and not hanging off the arms... Thank you for your service!

Hi John.. I'm new to your channel and let me tell you.. you are awesome... thanks a lot for giving us so much information and details and even adding links.. I would like to ask you if you have any video about costing.. how I can price my product ( tshirt with graphic) ..how to do the costing adding all my expenses and what should be my profit margin.. I do not want to make a mistake asking for so little money or too much .. thank you so much for shared all these information.

Great question! I’ll be adding this one to my list of videos to produce for next month 🙏🏽 I have one launching this week that touches on it a little bit. Appreciate you for subscribing and commenting my friend.

I like wholesale direct, not through a distributor. Bella Canvas stated that they don't sell wholesale to brand entrepreneurs because they don't want to compete with their distributors. I used a distributor and found that one of my orders sizing was off. The tshirts were manufactured in Nicaragua, and the grading was inconsistent from the other Bella Canvas orders. The tshirts were approximately two sizes bigger, and the finishing application kept rubbing/bleeding after suggested washing process.

So I've sampled t-shirts from most major brands, and I find it weird how out of all the brands, none of them have a t-shirt similar to the standard graphic t-shirt like the ones found in retail stores?
The standard retail graphic shirt I see in stores, is a classic fit, 100% cotton, 5oz, 3/4 - 1 inch collar, reinforced seems, slightly fitted while still being loose.
Meanwhile, every t shirt I've sampled, is ringspun cotton, 3-4 oz, boxy yet tight and a little too small, and minimally stitched?
And the t-shirts that fall into the spectrum I'm looking for, always have a sewn in or heat pressed neck tag, which most screen printers don't like since it makes customization impossible?
It blows my mind how there are a thousand different blank apparel companies, and none of them offer a t-shirt similar to an average graphic shirt found in a retail shop?
The closest I've found is Alstyle, but they're a little too big, and a little too rough.
I've sampled Bella Canvas, Gildan, Hanes, Fruit of the loom, Alstyle, Next Level, Delta, Anvil, Burnside, and American Apparel.
Is there any way to petition Bella Canvas to make such a shirt, with a tearaway tag?

I had this exact conversation with Tory (off camera) and yes he also wants to make an offering. I believe it’s only a matter of time. In business everything truly is about producing when the time is right. Sometimes going even 2 oz heavier could result in costs being substantially higher than the customer is willing to pay. Until the demand reaches the point to justify mass production on a scalable and profitable level (as well as a price point that customers are willing to pay), we may have to work with what we have available. With that said which shirts styles have you sampled from bella? I’m sure there’s one that can work with your requirements. I’ll personally ask for you, just lmk which style you have already sampled.

You are very much right, i am observing the same thing that 5 0z shirt and other ounces need to be produce in bella canvas it is needed, and they need to have alot more company trying to out do the other, making a better product instead of everyone carrying the same type, thats why bella canvas is the new winner bring the quality out do not hold back on your production, u don't know how many customers are looking for that quality they may see in there footlocker jimmy jazz and etc lets work, work time europe is working thats where all the customers is going to go so is either you company gain customer or loose them to outside production and America do not lose. Bella canvas is keeping us here good job at the moment but the need for more will have u going elsewhere to, the customers demand new styles and quality.

Garunteed, every street wear brand use Alystyle. Well up to this point they have. Many have been switching to more fashion fit blanks now a days.
