Why Choose Guru?
Well, the answer is remarkably simple actually. Guru products are designed with one thing in mind - getting you more bites. Whether you’re a top match man or a pleasure angler looking for an evening’s sport on a commercial fishery, you’ll find that Guru products will help you catch more fish. Many of our products are genuine market leaders, representing the cutting edge of tackle design. Rather than simply copying existing products, the Guru development team has always looked to innovate and improve.
Of course, this level of technical excellence is made possible only by having an unrivalled team of consultants. Leading the team is the commercial master himself, Steve Ringer and Adam Rooney.
The rest of the team bring huge experience in many disciplines of fishing, from specimen hunting, right through to top-end match competition. Of course, Guru draws on all of their strengths to produce tackle and anything that we bring out will have been given the Gurus stamp of approval before it hits the shelves.
its brilliant how dean gets excited every time he hooks in to a fish no matter what species it is on every video he is like it 👍👍🎣🎣
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account..?

I love these river wye videos top job Dean 👍
Yup
Dean loving the videos mate brilliant
Bloody good video! I'm planning on heading to the Wye in July. What type of feeder is that you're using? And what type of groundbait if you don't mind me asking 😁
I have a two piece barbel rod which is one and a half pound test curve would this be okay to use on the river
Personally I would use 1.75lb test curve for a river like the Wye if I am fishing close in. However I think if you're fishing with balanced tackle and a swim which you can afford to let the fish run a little you might get away with your set up. Saying all that if you want to catch some of the larger fish like barbel and big chub in snaggy swims or casting towards the far back we would suggest that you step up your rods to at least 2.25lb test curve.
So sad to see how the river wye has recently suffered from pollution spills and has become so crowded.
Great vid as usual,i m down in august for my 3rd year, gonna try middle court above kerne bridge, have u fished this stretch n have u any tips.cheers jp.
What test curve is the rod please
Nice one
I can’t get my head round catching a fish, looking at it and saying “yeahh, what a beauty” then letting it go just to do it all again. I fish to catch a beauty and say “yeahh, look what I’m eating tonight”, then fucking off with it.
Shame about the otters eventually there will be nothing left.
