Is a Saturday. Finished Install During the Week, Just Need to Do Limits and Remotes. I Can Set Limits With The Slotted Wheels, and The Encoding Wheel and Learn Limits, This Has Both, Think I just Have to Set Wheels like You Show, Just Wish They had a Note To IGNORE The Learn Limits, Now I Have To Research More 😢
I have an issue where it opens up just fine but when it goes to closes it moves a few inches stops and alarms 3 beeps. I've had it a few years now and never had this issue. I'm thinking it may be stretch in the chain but not 100% sure any tips?
I would check the bearings on the gate. When the gate is opening, it is not as sensitive to obstructions because it is opening so it thinks I can’t hurt anything. But when it closes, since there is a risk of crushing something it will reopen or stop. My guess is that the gates wheel bearings are done and need to be changed. Please let me now if that is the correct fix.
I’ve had this opener for about 15 years. I’m actually on my 2nd one as of 3 years ago because the control board burned up and they stopped making the old control board A few months ago I had a similar issue. It opened but went slow closing and would stop and beep. It would go a few inches. It would even stutter like go an inch, stop, go an inch etc and then beep. I ended up unscrewing my motor brushes and spraying contact cleaner in the holes and it’s been great since the. I think maybe the brushes weren’t making contact properly.
I have this gate. I recently replaced the circuit board and eye sensor. Since then the eye doesn't do anything-it has power and the lights operate but won't reverse the gate. The other problem is it won't reverse even if it hits something. It just stops and the fuse blows. I have tried adjusting the inertia and obstruction sensitivity but they don't seem to do anything. Ideas?
RMD3819 Sorry my brother. If you have not yet done so, Try downloading the trouble shooting PDF guides. They have helped me with different problems. Step by step ways of finding out whats wrong. Good luck. Post another comment if you find the solution. I have not run into that yet. I do not have a sensor on mine.

@allritythen without chain on gate moves fine by hand. I can still check the bearing but I believe they are fine
@allritythen another thing is if I retry it a couple times it will close I'm thinking maybe chain got stretched but not sure

12 Volt 7Ah Battery, Common with Alarm Systems, UPS, And Gates
It looks like you may have too much slack on that chain. The manufacturer suggests 1” per 10’.
