love your let's plays I normally play as a paladin but I had to try hellknight for my first playthrough of this game was gonna do paladin 2nd but this will do!
I know I'm late but I can't wait to watch this series. That being said, I will never understand people who don't spend hours looking for or creating custom portraits for their characters but that's just me I guess 😂
I started this game last week, brand new to this series. Slayer-deliverer, looks like angel mythic path will be my thing. Guess I can’t watch too much so I don’t spoil the game 😂
Paladin+Angel makes for a pretty thematic build if only owlcat allowed them to merge spellbooks with angel as otherwise you loose out on the main feature of this mythic path and are left with a couple minor buffs and not much else... Huge flavor fail by the devs in my opinion
@@imranbohari1 I don’t like Hard, and don’t see myself ever pursuing that difficulty. I don’t like the idea of modified enemy damage, when you’re already dealing with a roll-based system.
@@BringItDon I am very happy to see that you have multiple complete playthrough of roth with different mythic paths. On that note, are you planning to cover Lich/Demon playthrough sometime in future?
@@imranbohari1 I would like to play through all the mythics, though most of them will be streams instead of proper let’s plays. Three are currently in the works, and the other five are a ways off.
I would have started with power attack + cleave for an additional hit per round from the get go and at lv 3 cleaving finish for another extra hit. Also 2 points into Dex for an additional potential attack of opportunity per round Would be then all in all potential 3 extra hits per round at the very start and 4 extra hits at level 3 then combat reflexes for another potential attack of opportunity at lv 5 followed by outflank at level 7...and now after the character is basically a hit-machine with multiple extra hits per round due to the feats + additional extra hits due to the risen BAB I would either start at lv 9 the dazzling display/shattered defences route or take weapon focus and improved critical first and then going for dazzling display followed by shattered defences ..for the last 2 feats I would take seize the moment and improved initiative
@@michaelgrabner8977 I’m familiar with the Power Attack and Cleave level one meta, but I don’t plan on going the Cleave route this playthrough. Focused Strike and Intimidating Prowess will take up those potential feat slots. If I were a Fighter, or some other feat heavy class, I’d probably do the Power Attack into Cleave combo, but it’s not really necessary on Core. I want to go all in on the intimidate and fear effects, and build around a Paladin that the demons are scared of.

@@zan1639 That depends on which mythic path you want to play, and also what type of class you typically pick. Paladin is a solid pick for this specific campaign, but there’s a few classes that excel against evil creatures.
I dislike taking Iomedae in this campaign because of what happens in Act 5. To keep your Mythical Abilities, you are disobeying your goddess..... Granted, one disobediance isn't gong to cost you your powers, but....
@@GoldDragon1 I had debated with myself about taking her as the deity for this character, and decided she was the best option. Between the domains she represents and her being a prior mortal, I don’t see my Paladin worshipping any of the other options.
I'll admit to not knowing much about Pathfinder but a Paladin with such a low constitution modifier seems terrible to me. Paladins are AC tanks sure but they should also have pretty good constitution modifier in my opinion. Are you able to up your ability points more often then in D&D?

He’ll be attacking from the second line while enlarged for most of the game, so the extra Constitution is just a contingency and to help with Fortitude saves. There’s also a ton of means to boost your Constitution via magic items and spells.
You can pump your constitution up whit gear for sure but realisticly most Paladin's will opt to take the horse over Divine weapon bond at level 5(Unless they are a Tortured Crusader)and while you do mounted combat your own defensive stats don't matter that much as the mount will take almost all attacks for you.
I have almost finished the long grind of your first playthrough looks like I can start on this one immediately after 😂 love all the content cheers mate 👍

Merging a full caster with a 1/3 of a caster? How would that work?
Seems like an unnecessary complication while separate books work just fine.

It would work exactly the same you just ad your mythic rank to your class caster level and you get your total caster level

3 pennies he uses a mace or maul, i.e. a hammer of sorts in this play through!

Hey, I've mixed it up a little. I've played a Gendarme, Reformed Fiend, and Imitator, and only two of those were strength and charisma classes.
