How would I pattern draft this? But on just a regular straight line for the neckline? I don't want a curve for the neck line.

Hello ma’am, so grateful for the video but i wanted to know if my darts difference is just 3” (as yours was 4.5” ) how should I divide it between front ,side and back darts?
It depends on the body shape. I’d start with 0.75” on the back, 1” on the side, and 1.25” on the front.
Jin - where would you put boning in this bustier? And will you be making more videos on different styles/corsetry?
I would have wires in to all the vertical seams. Side seams and princess seams.
I will make more videos about bustier in the future.😊

I have a question concerning this video and my question comes from where you connect the top line on the front panel to the bust span, what measurement did you use on the style line. Thank you for your response, and how can we convert the bustier pattern to the underbust corset
Hi, you measure the apex length and bust span from the body and apply to the pattern. And for the underbust corset, you don’t need to start from a bustier pattern. Start with a rectangle. Underbust circumference X corset length. And make darts (seams) as high waist, waist, and underwaist measurements.

Hmmmm......yes, basically the same. But almost no dart. You don't need big curve then.

@gabrielthelevel2456 It depends on the difference between bust and waist measurement. If she is a little girl, then I think those 2 measurements can be the same. Then you don't need any dart.
