It's supposed to be like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters (a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds super weird to me!!) (yes it's an L not an i)
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Name change might happen eventually (I've been saying this since march...) but I'm afraid of people not liking it lol

if im not mistaken, the damocles/acceptance glitch works like this: acceptance has a chance to spawn an extra item when you get an item pedestal, so damocles gives you another one, proccing off of acceptance - BUT, acceptance doesnt know to NOT proc off of damocles' pedestal, so when you get lucky, the two keep adding another pedestal over and over
So, what you're saying is that a single pedestal can duplicate into infinite and crash the game?
So, it's basically a 1/2^x chance to get x+1 amount of items from a single item pedestal? That's pretty dope

I was recently goofing around with a mod called "Trick Penny," a luck based crooked penny (21 luck is 100% and -21 is 0). I ended up getting car battery and 21 luck (tainted keeper is broke af) and was able to basically infinitely dupe all items. Only issue was if you did any more than like, 3 dupes the pedestals would start glitching into each other lmao
that just sounds insanly broken if u have good luck and super useless if u dont, shit item imo
@@DensenBro well it absolutely is but the odds of getting more than maybe 40/60 odds in one game are pretty miniscule. Again, with 0 luck you have even 50/50 odds so I'd say it's relatively ok for the average character which only reaches about 4 luck (the lost being an exception with perfection and t-keeper because he's just broke as fuck as is)
What i already learned? If you arent sure where the ultra secret room is its propably somewhere behind the shop
You have a room FILLED with items and you're sad you lost out on death certificate. Honestly, at that point I'd say it wasn't REALLY necessary.

Just so you know, yesterday I got a combo that killed mother without shooting, i just moved around: T Forgotten + Gnawed Leaf + 120 Volt, you can cary the body around without loosing the invincibility, and 120 Volt still works (Gnawed Leaf deactivate when you throw the body, use a card, pill, rune or your active (too bad that an easy run had D Infinity inside of the 1st secret room))

heres a tip:
you should use Mod Config Menu PURE.
its a new version of the mod "without hacky api practices".
basically, it shouldnt screw up your game when you use it
i would like to give you any hint of a link, but youtube ETERNALLY FORSAKES ME for doing that (mod is made by Zamiell/Zamie)
remember to disable other versions of the mod for it to work properly.
and keep in mind that some mods might not work properly with this version of mcm if they rely on those previously mentioned hacky api practices (but you should generally be fine)

Sans Damocles spawns one item for every instance of item, that mega cheat on the Chest would have spawned four items under only Damocles
If Acceptance activated on every instance of those items, it would’ve generated eight items
However, that chess generated 10 items, implying the potential, unlikely as it is, for exponential growth
The items spawned by Acceptance can be duped by Damocles

Is there any reason to "save" the dono machine after you've gotten the 999 coin unlock? Also why do they fight the angels several times even after getting the key pieces?

No reason to save the dono machine, it just looks better when it's filled.
Fighting angels after getting key pieces? Why not, you're most probably broken by then so it's just a quick fight with no risks and sometimes something good as a reward.
I appreciated the run without the goofy specialist dance music. Mudeth's soundtrack is just too good to have interrupted by that dumb music every 30 seconds, or even more when you go in and out of rooms with a Q4 item.
Keep it off, please! You can still watch him dance if you want a Q4 indicator.

Mother and Beast paths are relatively short compared to mega stan and coom monster

@@SyntaxGacha Another reason to not go to mother and beast is that you can end up _forgetting_ to get certain things (knife pieces and cracked/red key respectively)
Knife pieces are different from Key pieces because you have _multiple chances_ to get the key pieces, but in order to get the knife pieces, you need to go to the alt path (which you may or may not be able to do) and get the knife pieces on the second floor of each chapter (you only get one chance!)
...Also, Mines/Ashpit are *pain.*

Starting clip mad relatable. Got two eden starts with q4s today (one was r key) and exactly 1 heart. Did not survive the first floor. I like just got repentance and im acclimating to the lack of ab+ gamebreaks lmao i finally have to actually get good (at lweast until i unlock the good repentance gamebreaks)

The exploit with exiting the game and coming back to avoid rerolling items you like doesn't really matter. You've effectively stopped caring about cheating ever since using mods that significantly alter the vanilla game's mechanics. I don't mind the mods, so don't take it as me being some BoI purist gatekeeper, I think they're interesting and once I unlock Dead God on my save I might start using them to keep the game fresh, but I wouldn't really care about exploits at that point since pretty much all the big mods for Repentance completely destroy the game's balance anyway.
And lemme just clarify what I mean; The game was balanced around the idea that there are only so many ways to reroll or otherwise obtain items to begin with. Any time you add in a new way to get more items outside the game's scope, it's already destroying the balance. Even if the mods themselves are "balanced", it's not balanced by the actual game. Even though TBoI does support mods and using them, any time you use mods that significantly modify the way you can play the game, making obtaining items easier or giving more ways of manipulating RNG, it's already throwing balance in the trash. I've seen several items in the mods Lavencas uses that does this, and so many so that an exploit like that is probably not even a drop in a bucket when it comes to game breaking mechanics when the item that does that is breaking the game so much harder than exploiting an oversight.
