Ah cool man, I havn't personally used Rimthreaded I have heard mixed reports about it the past but can't say from personal experience. I'm glad it's working for you :), to play late game without glad is a true joy :)
after a certain amount od mods my rimworld simply wont open can you help me?
I don't really like rocket man I always get a bunch of mod errors when it's on
Can you get any problem when using the cleaner, like some quest gone ? Or anything ?
Hey Kaiser, it's mainly just about performence not really about quests sorry
3080 with 5800x and getting huge drops man, Im a new player and was having so much fun but this makes me want to quit.
when are you getting the Drops Soldier Boy? have you applied the mods?
@@AussieBattleCat Getting drops when I unpause the game and zoom out, was going down to 50 fps, had like 8 colonists, a ton of animals and prisoners. Mods didnt change performance at all.
I just started a new game, idk maybe the mods will work better on something fresh.
@@gutsssz 50fps isn't to bad tbh, but yeah try starting fresh, make sure to the mods are placed at the bottom and you have followed all the other steps :)
Rocketman causes more red errors with my mods and I cannot safely uninstall it when it is in an existing game. Rimthreaded is the best performance optimizer but not all mods work with it. Performance analyzer doesn't increase performance. It just tells you where the problem may lie. Most games lag due to red and yellow errors. Find the mods that are causing those errors and remove them from your game.
I've had no problems with Rocketman, you just need to make sure it's at the bottom of the list :)
My only real issue with finding said sources of errors is some of the text is worded so that you don't really know the origin.
@@ecchihead Agreed. It's to the point where I just stop playing Rimworld. I can't play it without mods but if i play with mods the game invariably starts flaking out and lagging. Can't figure out what is causing the errors.
@@squirrelattackspidy I spend more time modding and trouble shooting than actually playing these days xD
@@ecchihead Me too dude. I wish there was a better error reporting tool just so we could track down and remove conflicting or broken mods more easily. I play just to see when I get red or yellow error popping up. Then restart the game fresh without the mods.
I really hate that you didn't show how to open the performance analyzer
Hi, friend!
I'm completely new to Rimworld. Pls tell me, is it worth start playing on an old laptop (i3-5005u (2x2.0ghz), 8 ram, 2 gb video), even thought on the start fps sometimes drops to 25-30 when I zoom out and speed up x3, or better put game aside for better times? Played a little with no mods but with all 3 dlc.
Thanks!
Hey Pack Of Mints. I would apply these performance mods into your Rimworld as it will help improve performance even if you arn't using any other gameplay mods. Give this a shot as there is still hope and let me know how it goes :)
@@AussieBattleCat thank you, brother, these mods helped alot, now Rimworld is completely playable on my old laptop!
@@packofmint4906 Yay!!!!!!! So glad to hear they helped :) Now you can slowly introduce mods until it can't handle it anymore :)
Very cool
Enjoy, If you have any questions, feel free to ask :)
i still dont get how mi game goes so bad even with all of these mods, its probably combat expanded, i bet frame rate was not compatible with it
Hahaha, yeah unfortunately not much is compatible with CE. I believe the problem is that the game runs on 1 core so when there are lots of things going on, your computer can't utilize more CPU power leading to bad performance. These do help to an extent though.
Omg, do you really answer every comment?
Everyone :)
How did you get fps and tps counter?
Isn't rocket man pretty much abandoned? It has lots of mod conflicts
But it's good when it works though
No it's not abandoned, that modder says in the description they can't work on it until q2 2022 for personal reason but they specify that it is not abandoned or discontinued :)
I know it conflicts with rimthreaded, what other conflicts do you have with this mod?
@@AussieBattleCat don't remember on the spot, but windows mod for sure, androids have some issues (disappearing textures) and several other conflicts
@@Slider93 Ah ok that's good to know, Thanks for sharing mate :). btw did you mean android tiers? I used them together all the time and didn't have any issues.
@@AussieBattleCat yeah, android tiers. Dunno, maybe it is a problem with some texture mod, but I had disappearing textures all the time after I add rimthreaded. Some androids lost their head texture permanently lol
@@Slider93 I have never used rimthreaded, I know you cannot use it with rocketman. I havn't heard the best things about rimthreaded though, but I have never personally used it myself :).
plays like it was in vanilla with 300+ mods
Do you mean there was no improvement for you? I mean 300+ mods is a lot to go through :)
@@AussieBattleCat it works well
@@Ulfbhert9000 Perfect :)
I play without mods on 30 fps on my old pc, can this mods help me?
I think it should help in the late game for sure. At the very least it cant hurt to try :)
So what was the performance increase like in percentages?
Hey bugrilyus, It all depends on the amount of mods you are running, but it is generally more noticeable the more mods you are using :)
@@AussieBattleCat Thanks, yesterday I downloaded 2 mods to my previous modlist and it just tanked the performance, no idea whjy
@@bugrilyus no worries, what are the mods that you downloaded?
@@AussieBattleCat SYR doormats, KV rimfridge, Level up. Oh it was 3. I suspect it is either level up or doormats, thinking they would cause the most strain on the cpu due to their nature.
@@bugrilyus You can have a look with dubs performance analyzer to see which is doing the most tanking :)
How does this stack up against Rimthreaded?
I havnt tried rimthreaded personally but from what i've heard Rocketman far out exceeds it.
Bueno espero que me sirva, no entiendo mucho el ingles pero algo entendere
This did not improve my fps :(
Sorry to hear that mate, Did you put the mods at the bottom of the load order with Rocketman being at the very bottom?
these mods doesnt help at all
They will help to a point but if you are running a ton of mods in late game, they can only do so much.
