As one of those opaque layer guys, here? I'm happy with my Vallejo paints and I don't see myself adding these to my collection. But boy, do I like the results you get with them, Don!
I also really love my opaque paints, but i found myself wanting thinner and thinner paints for highlights and shadows, and these work great for it :) just another great tool for the belt, ya know?

Oh Glaze Medium? I paint more with Thinner Medium with Vallejos. Much much more versatile for me. I think I only have a couple of videos with glaze medium... most of my medium glazing are with thinner medium. 😊
Don, you've definitely piqued my interest in this product at a time when I am trying to add glazing techniques to my painting style. How well do you think the glaze and sketch paints would work for wet blending? Do you have any recommendations as to what colors to purchase? I wish cephalopod cephalopod studios had more information available on how to utilize this new line of paints but for now you are an EXCELLENT ambassador :)

Im no pro, ive only been painting for a little over 2 years, but i have the amazing fortune of counting Cephalopod Studios as a good friend, i can tell you that wet blending with Cuttlefish is great! I watch Ceph do it on a weekly and the Merlins Magic Medium is a dry retardent (slows the drying process) so it gives you more time to blend!

Yes... opaque paints are the most basic in demand paints. Now all brands are into speed contrast paints. I prefer working in between those paints. 😅

I feel, specially with the Merlyn's Medium, these paints would work well with wet blending. Just not my style, but will try soon. 😊🎨🎨🎨
