    It's magnificent , but what a colossal job. You put a lot of shades to make Smaug as realistic as possible. I love this color scheme.👏👏 🤩🤩(and other emojis that show how much I like it)

    Thanks for the tutorial! Im about to tackle a Japanese dragon so will def use your techniques! 🙌🙌🤙🏽🎨 would you recommend me using a metallic Color palette?

      @ChewiePainting  2 года назад +1

      Hey buddy ! I would probably not use metallic colours but like in the video rather these shift colours :)

    Die Farbenanzeige rechts gefällt mir gut. Die Stacheln die du an den Flügeln gehighlighted hast, sind mir zu grob, der Übergang ist zu grob finde ich, schaut nicht natürlich aus. Bei den Hörnern auf dem Kopf, dort sieht alles sehr verwaschen aus, da fehlt mi mehr Kontrast, evtl. dünnes blacklining? dort wo die Hörner aus dem Schädel kommen.

    • @ChewiePainting
      @ChewiePainting  2 года назад +1

      Danke Stefan für deinen Input :) ich mag das grobe Highlighten an den Stacheln das ist aber natürlich Geschmackssache - und am Kopf hätte man mehr Kontrast machen können - aber es war mein erster smaug und die anderen kannst du ja auch auf meinem Chanel sehen und Vielelicht eine Verbesserung feststellen :)

      I will def. Always do middle earth but there will also be some videos on the new AOS box. There will be videos on the warbats, ENTs, Mordor Katapult, nazgul all already filmed just needs the editing :)

      Oh and brushes : if you got too much money to spend Windsor and newton def nice brushes but I've made the experience that they wear out just as fast as any brand so now I stick to da Vinci just cause they are half or third of the price ✌️

    Und noch eine Frage ist mir eingefallen, hast du mal Liquid GreenStuff probiert? bzw, das GreenStuff aus der Tube? das könntest du mit einem Colour Shaper schön in die Ritzen pinseln, und später mit einem synthetik Pinsel und white spirit/Wasser glattstreichen.
    Und evtl. die Flügel und alles andere seperat bemalen, so kommt man besser an alle Ecken und kann die Mini später einfach zusammenbauen. So mache ich das z. B. gerne.
    Warum ich das so sage? wei das Modell 400+€ kostet und die Stacheln wie du sie festgeklebt hast triggert mich etwas. 😆

    • @ChewiePainting
      @ChewiePainting  2 года назад

      Liquid greenstuff ist tatsächlich für so große Lücken nicht geeignet - das ist wirklich nur für die aller kleinsten Risse leider geeignet - und ja beim zweiten smaug habe ich das mit den Flügeln dann seperat so gemacht
