    How well does the kick pad pick up the double pedal?

    • @VladyslavTykhonov
      @VladyslavTykhonov  Год назад +66

      For the pedal on this drum kit, you need to choose a double pedal well, because most likely it will not fit. The bass drum pad is very small. As an example, I have Mapex P500TW double pedal and it fit.

    • @GenuineDunkaccino
      @GenuineDunkaccino Год назад +9

      The bass drum pad will be the first thing to break. Mine snapped within a few month of use. You’re most likely gonna have to buy a new one

      I had a pdp p2000 running on it, and it was horrible.. the pedal was great but it of course didn’t fit. I was only grabbing the sensor with 1 pedal, and the other was essentially grabbing plastic “rim shots” of the bass drum. Needless to say, it wasn’t fun trying to learn my double pedal on that.

      Bro, unfortunately I won't be able to write a tutorial because I've already sold this drum set, but I'll try to explain, although I've already answered many similar comments.
      Let's start with the fact that you need a sound card with at least 1 output and 1 input. I connect the output signal (music) from the computer to the input on the drum kit (now if I connect headphones to the drum kit on the left side of the control unit, I will hear both the sound of the drum kit and the music coming from the computer) Next, through the cable (2 jacks per minijack), I connect the output signal from the drums to the input signal of the sound card connector, thereby using the Audacity program I can record the sound of the drum kit + music playing on the computer. I hope you understood something)

      Hi friend) I use Audacity sound recording program, it is free, there is also Reaper, you can use the free version. But if you want to record a midi signal, you will have to download or buy Fl studio or Cubase (plus find a virtual drum machine, Ezdrummer, or others). At the expense of the quality of the Alesis drum set, it is very high-quality for its money, I definitely recommend it)

I seem to already have issues with every hit landing on a single bass drum kick so I was worried if getting the double pedal or if I need to get a new and bigger pad to use it ? That’d be extra expensive though so hoping just a new double bass works haha. Thanks!

But the whole point is to rest the bass drum tower on something)
