The tones from this kit are burned into my forever memory, that hi hat in particular instantly brought me back to my old live recordings. It’s a decent little kit!
For the pedal on this drum kit, you need to choose a double pedal well, because most likely it will not fit. The bass drum pad is very small. As an example, I have Mapex P500TW double pedal and it fit.
I had a pdp p2000 running on it, and it was horrible.. the pedal was great but it of course didn’t fit. I was only grabbing the sensor with 1 pedal, and the other was essentially grabbing plastic “rim shots” of the bass drum. Needless to say, it wasn’t fun trying to learn my double pedal on that.
I have always been a faithful player of acoustic drum… always considered the electronic drum as an inferior expression of drumming but I am reconsidering my views. This sound great.
