whoever said 7 is a lucky number is a LIAR and a FRAUD, cant believe this took so long to make, an entire p4ndemic happened during the creation of this episode my god
there are many reasons it took so long, but i'll save the excuses and just say it was mainly due to switching from sai to procreate (there was a moment where a MONTHS worth of progress was lost bc procreate was feeling a lil goofy and my frame file got deleted which had like 150 frames on it, needless to say, it kinda killed my motivation for a while)
but tbh i learned a lot during the making of this part and it'll def be smoother sailing with the next ones!!

Edit: Since the last episode, your art has taken a sharp uptick in quality and detail-each character's features are much more defined and distinct, and even the way you color their hair and skin makes them pop right out of the screen. You were an awesome artist before, and you've only become an even better one. Keep it up (but remember to take breaks)! 👍 👍

fam, i so agree about the quality of her style! i noticed it within moments of the video starting! each character looks more distinct, and you can feel the time and effort put into every frame! not to mention the effort that went into the framing and setup of each angle and perspective!

honestly even if your series are taking days, months, years, decades to wait its worth the wait. ive been here since the first episode of HH since 2018 and ive always been following it since then! you're not the worst youtuber ever when you chose to not give up on the series and keep continuing despite taking long times, and people are still waiting and rooting for you!!! i really love your series and seeing the story keep developing and your art improving everytime you upload a episode it really makes me happy! keep up the great work, we will all be waiting until the end of the story and see you achieve!
it's crazy since when i first bumped into szin I didn't watch hybrid heroes, cause there hadn't been any episodes released yet. i had bumped into her other animatic which used the same character design for Maya. i think it was about the red strings. After that, i had become obsessed and ''stalked'' her channel and stumbled upon her teaser. Important to acknowledge the teaser had been up for some while so I wasn't ,at that time, really sure if it would ever happen,... now here i am 6 years later and still so giddy every time i watch a new episode or rewatch a previous one !!

Oaky I’ve calmed down. Oh my gosh I loved this episode. I especially like the last bit without dialogue, you told so much story through just a couple of frames and made me laugh aloud at their reactions to Andy’s cooking.

Gosh there's so many more unknowns or questions to uncover and we've learned about something serious and deep about HH!! There's more hybrids? What if they ever encounter other Hybrids who are unfairly outcasted and feels like they could have been "chosen" and one say seeks the 5 and conflict ensues and we have a villain in development 🔫🔫🔫
Also it's so awesome so see the stylistic developments from the beginning of the episode to the end, there's more confidence and comfort in drawing them

HI SZIN big fan but I was wondering why don't you just make hybrid heroes into a comic.
It might be a time-saver and also I love to read it like that it would be really cool
So… here’s what I’m thinking. Either Dawn’s soul made it and she’s just adapted to being able to hide her powers/the person her soul is in hasn’t manifested powers yet, or Dawn’s still alive and just hiding out to finish whatever she started. And if she did make it into a new body… I wonder if it’s possible that person is Anya, since Dawn and Anya have a faint resemblance
