Tô be honest the shower tile looked perfectly fine, it picks on the bathroom floor colors and looks nice with the Subway tile. I really like how he did it
I like it but all of that subway grout to clean...no 😊 thank you
Agreed. Another tile pattern would be too busy for most buyers
The weird part was that the shower curtain is on the outside - so every time you shower, water will get on the floor tile - strange.

That's what I thought too. I think he could design a house himself, he always makes good decisions
They over-accessorize. Too many throw pillows, too many dishes on the table. Otherwise, it looks beautiful.
I know, I hate when they do that - more than two pillows on a couch is too much for me. We would end up throwing them on the floor.
I am so glad to see that most others see the same problems I see. Taking out the fire place and tub were a bad choice and all that clutter...just too much. I prefer to see an empty house so I can image where my things will go. They put so much in a room you can barely walk. They do not create spaces for actual living but just for showing. Buyers can see through all the mess, and it raises the price.
I don't like the two busy tiles side by side-just too mch pattenr. I agree with his decision on that bathroom tile.
Just a thought.... I feel like there is too much staging.... So much stuff...kinda busy...and can you change up the BoHo style....
Who wants to dust and clean all that clutter? Not me :)
WAAAAAY over decorated.
I don't like a lot of stuff but the way they stage the houses really works for their target
1. They and their staging style is extremely successful. Why would they change it? 2. Staging items do not remain in the house after the sale so no one is dusting any of it. 3. They know their market, change it up anyway you want in your market and post your results before any of you loveseat critics comment.
These two are masterminds. More elegance, more value. I wouldn't have removed the woodburning stove, though. Maybe changed its position. They are very cost-efficient for heating the home.
I've seen this duo a couple of times before and one thing I notice is that they over decorate. Personally, I think the house would look better with 1/3 of the decor removed. Buyers should see the house, not the decor. However, it looks really nice and I prefer his tile choice. I really like that tile, even though I hate tile. Lol.
I agree. Too much “stuff” making it look cluttered.
I mean the reaction of the family is just amaaaaazing.... And what gorgeous changes can be done when professionals are on board in charge of the ship.... ✌️🥰.... Super cool interior transformation and a very homey space.... 😍👏✨
What a TERRIFIC concept- these ladies ROCK!
Really give a high end custom shower with the smallest shower head in the market🤣🤣🤣🤣
His tile choice was better... More classic. They tend to be way too trendy for me
I loved it. What was her choice? The same as the flooring? I wasn't clear about that.
Yes, the style they implement is trendy but it works for buyers who are too busy to redo on their own. I do feel that their stageing is way overdone. They make the homes look like someone is living there rather than an invitation to move in and make it one's own.
I hate the busy, patterned floor tile.
Fantastic work as usual ladies!!! Such warmth and highend charm. So beautiful!!!!
TOO much clutter. Makes the rooms look smaller and would create a lot of extra housework to keep it all dusted. Taking a alternate heating source out is just, plain stupid. What happens when the power grid goes down? Too much and too much added to the budget which cuts down on the overall profit.
nice remodel but staging is too cluttered with dust collectors from the $ store. They are clever ladies, but, I find it annoying when they finish each other sentences or repeat what has just been said.
I love this show, hope for some new episodes!
I really love this makeover ❤
Great refurbishing, but again, wish the house and dimensions were shown more than the knick-knacks.
Yes, that would be better - I always find I have to go back and replay to understand how the rooms fit together.
I agree that their staging is to much BUT it get the houses sold!!
That was freaking AWESOME.
Good decision to add the third bedroom to make it a 3 bedroom/2 bath house instead of 2 beds/2 baths. My neighbors house was a 2/2 and it was on the market for a year. As soon as the house was changed to a 3 bed/2 bath it sold. The remodel looked good. There was a little too much stuff added for the staging. I personally don't like to see the kitchen from the front door.
I agree, the kitchen is too open to the front of the house. Could have put an island for some separation, as well as to provide extra, informal seating and an additional prep space/area.
@@dawnth531buyers can add their island.
That’s incredible for me, as an European to see a so big house with so few bedrooms. A lot of space for nothing
I want to buy home decor that is used. Amazing styling.
The house is beautiful but all the staging makes it look cluttered.
OMG, leave the tile.........not a big deal!
Their designs are fine but their staging is always too busy. It’s so packed in and in-your-face boho you can hardly see the room.
Agreed!
What was the tile that they had originally planned for the shower? I don't understand why they didn't use the same tile as the floor. The two different types of tile was jarring.
I don't like the two different tiles combined in the kitchen (behind the stove and the backsplash). The tiling designs in their homes are really the sisters' Achille's heel. They definitely need help in this aspect of their renovations.
My very first thought is the fridge looks like it was moved over from the end of the counter where there is a electrical outlet for the drama of seeing it when you come in the front ….
GORGEOUS!!! 😲
love the designs.
Decent reno, over staged imo. The shower sill should be a one piece that reduces tracks for rot. Those details matter. The shower flooring issue wasn't resolved on camera, which makes you wonder.
Same opinion on the staging.... Too much
What do you mean by “should be a one piece that reduces tracks for rot?” I’m just curious to learn something!
@@michellewitt2071 the piece that goes across the sill/threshold. They used pieces with grout, not a single slab
@@elizabethharttley4073 thank you! I just don’t want to make mistakes when I redo my shower one day
And why is the shower curtain OUTSIDE of the sill? Won't all the water get all over the bathroom floor? Mine is on the inside and we still get a lake outside sometimes!
Didn't see the other bathroom but in Washington State a fireplace is VERY necessary! Also, I would not buy a house w/o a tub...not solely a tub but def one in the main bathroom. Otherwise, this house is AMAZING!
Seriously, could the fixation on shiplap just stop? Please.
Idk who the dude that does the renovations is but he needs to marry me.
really the frig? you can see the ice maker hookup at the end of the cabinets / nice renovation though
Love this show
We need new episodes on RUclips, Thanks 😊
The vanity being all drawers is not very smart. Most products are taller than that, so you won't be able to put them away. And if they did the shiplap on the wall that should've gone in before the vanity, down to the floor.
Looks great but the changes they made completely removed it from my list….. no fireplace? Nope. No soaker tub? Nope.
I was sad they removed both as well. I would agree that you want to ADD a shower, but not REMOVE a tub.
Because the shower makes a wall between the toilet and the sink (where toothbrushes usually sit) the bathroom is also much more hygenic.
It is helpful to close both lids on a toilet before flushing. Think about it.
Both lids? There's only one lid, no? We always shut it before flushing, for that reason!
@@jtidema Maybe the commenter means seat and lid.
He made the right choice, that shower with the floor pattern would of been too busy
The kitchen was really pretty tho I think there was enough room for a small island
I find it hard to believe that any home in the Puget Sound area is having trouble selling right now.
Nice.
Bad move removing fireplace, gets gnarly weather at times..power outages😢
Why do they always say square foot instead of the plural square feet? Drives me crazy.
How can I get intouch we the twins
they do a great job but just a bit too many knick knacks-just my opinion
You use that tile on the floor in the bath on many of your homes. I am not a fan of it reminds me of my old tile floor in the kitchen back in Italy. I am not a fan of pattern tiles.
Way too much stuff in the staging.
This is a comment on boho style. And another on homes sell without furniture so this is over decor.
Heres why staged homes sell with furniture and the mortgage company will include furniture of staged homes for first time home buyers and the home is move in ready.
As for boho. Boho is the current style used for staged homes. Style of staged homes change every 10 years. 10 years ago you would noticed chipped vases with shades of green instead of the boho accent of woven yarn with blues.
8:12 what s that? STAINS?... OTHERWISE IT S A PERFECT DREAM HOME
It's the grain in the tile, not stains.
@@divinesignatures6225 oh really? well excuuuuuse me😆
Modern farmhouse...what the hell is that?
@Angel Bulldog4 I'm guessing Modern Farmhouse is a style that uses the materials (eg wood, metal light fitting) and forms of tried-and-true, old farmhouse homes - but with the conveniences of today (like fully fitted closets). So here they added French doors, took out the 1980s spa tub, used older-looking tile patterns, shaker cabinets etc And styled the home with lots of timber pieces, and cosy texture.
I bet so tired of hearing. "Natural light"
No more ship lap farm house!!!
OVER ALL THE HOUSE LOOK SO AMAZING BUT IT SHOULD HAVE 6:40 ISLAND IN THE KITCHEN. IT LOOKS A DEAD SPOT.
His tile choice was horrible. If I went in this house and saw those clashing tiles in bath, either I would not buy it, or I would seriously discount my offer. Lesson learned: stick to what you know.
The kitchen needs an island and they over-decorated the house.
GURL !!!! way too busy dining table.
Infuriating that a G.C. would interfere w design like that. Omg.
Please, please, please add mulch over the dirt in the front. PLEASE.
Splitting the profit is criminal. These two should get paid for work done not get the equity in the house.
The Final profit to split is only $70,000, the ladies’ profit is $35,000 ,but they put their own money $30,000 on renovation, that means their profit is only $5,000, each lady get only $2500 profit, for 2-3 months hard working ???
They calculate the profit after they've paid their investment
It's 2030....every house in America looks the same....
Yes, way,way too much on the table........
Im not a minimalist but this is too much. Good thing its only to help sell the property
As an interior designer I can tell u that if a builder did design change he would be fired on the spot
Staging is cluttered. Don't like it.
these ladies have great ideas and do great design but I am afraid I they ever will stop the American cushion industry will die.... lol
Soooo much clutter
The twins need to fix their look- their hair, glasses, looks bad
And again, grey under cabinets and white upper, pfff I am getting so very tired of the lack of fantasy, these are again exactly the same kitchen cabinets that I have seen in other remodels they did. Boooooooring 🥱 and also shiplap … again! Let me yawn again 🥱
