I would love if in Stardew Valley you have a cutscene where a Junimo says they are needed somewhere else and opens a star shaped portal to a terraria forest
then the cola jumps out for some reason
@@danielcraciun2589 when the junimo leaves a random joja can spawn where it was and it has the can design but it says there is water inside because it was "purified"
And if it ever comes back, it should have almost gone crazy after the fight with the Moon Lord, since the "Otherworldly voices linger around you" the "Your mind goes numb", "You are overwhelmed with pain", and "Impending doom approaches..." all took effect.
I miss read Junimo as jumbo I did not know that terraria is going to have a jimmy neutron crossover.

Or maybe volcano enemies have a chance to drop a guide voodoo doll. And if you drop it into lava, a portal to terrarias underworld appears and the wof comes and barfs out a breaker blade or something.
Edit: OOOHH I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING. What if he adds another strange doll that is the voodoo doll. Thatd be awesome.

@@a_puntato29 an indie game is a game that wasn't made by the big companies. Terraria is pretty much an indie game since it only relied on itself for the main game and a different studio for ports.

While the sprite for the blue chicken is definitely a reference to Stardew the blue chicken from Stardew is likely a reference to Zelda Ocarina of Time’s blue chicken named Cojiro (which itself is probably a reference to certain species of chicken in real life that are blue, blue chickens are a rabbit hole I swear)

As someone who knows very little about Stardew Valley I thought it was a Pipis from Deltarune.
They actually did another crossover with Project Zomboid and added their mascot "Spiffo" the racoon as a pet aswell
They think they're Fortnite with how they be letting everyone join 💀

It was literally the first item I fished on the new patch, wooden fish pole and all, the junimo coming out of the star portal made me speechless

i love that star dew valley made a *Zelda: Ocarina of Time* reference in the form of the blue chicken which now landed as a crossover in Terraria, which is also full of Zelda references!!!
Funny the first thing came to my mind was the flying rooster in link's awakening but then again never played ocarina of time before so...

I've been playing Terraria and Stardew Valley for as long as they've been available, and seeing them come together like this is indescribably exciting.
SAME it brought tears to my eyes
The blue chicken pet was shown in a state of the game, the one where they announced pets being shown in character select menu but the image was quickly changed a few minutes later.
At first I thought it was another Zelda reference... Cojiro from Ocarina of Time.
This is the perfect crossover. Small dev teams, wildly successful 2D games, a match made in heaven!
Idk how he's done it but chippy has been playing and recording this game for 10 years and I still love it

An idea for a crossover event in Stardew would be for the traveling merchant to show up in Stardew and ask for you to bring him a blue egg (would require ConcernedApe to actually add blue eggs, but still a neat idea imo)

The celebrationmk10 seed doubles the amount of things the traveling merchant sells at once so if you're trying to get rare items go to the seed
I just found out the skeleton merchant now sells an item that permanently increases the range of crafting stations. I think it's called "artisan loaf".
It also appeared in a chest in one of the gameplays that I've seen, tho it was prob bcuz it was a special seed
Casual golden bunny drowning in the small fishing pool
Would love to see an Eye of Cthulhu some where in Stardew. Maybe as a lil dude to hang around at your farm or maybe as a random mob encounter in Skull Caverns or something. Loving these little secrets the devs put in.
There's also spiffo from zomboid as a pet drop from zombies
I like how Project Zomboid was also a crossover because the game was either forgotten or criminally underrated
The Blue Chicken's tool tip says something about Shane. Also, I found this the same day the update came out and I now have a new favorite pet
i didnt know they added stardew valley pets, thats really cool!
I used the tiki mask as my pet for a while because it looked like the crash bandicoot mask but this is way better. A little tiny junimo, that is amazing

i'd say they're doing the opposite, but in a good way. They're so inconsistent that they can't even stick to the plan of having a final update xd

Idk if it was mentioned yet but there is also a project zomboid pet. You get it by killing zombies.
If you throw the traveling merchant's hat into shimmer it becomes an item when used will permanently increase the amount of items he can sell from 6 to 9
Not sure if you've already seen it but there's also a Project Zomboid easter egg. You can get a Spiffo Plush, the mascot of the game, as a 0.07% drop from eskimo, raincoat, and normal zombies
Have you seen the spiffo plush that drops from a zombie in a 1/1500 chance? It is a reference to Project Zomboid! But I am unaware if it's a collaboration with the game.
As soon as I saw the blue can in the thumbnail I knew it was Stardew Valley! Two of my favorite games of all time coming together is incredible!
I love the tiny little hint of characterization this gives the Terrarian thanks to the Stardrop's nature; It always has a taste that reminds you of your favorite thing.

There's alson small project zomboid crossover. Its a pet spiffo that with small chance drops from zombies.
i had no idea that the blue chicken was that rare, i got it fairly early on in the zenith seed world i've been playing on
When I was playing yesterday, I mean it when I say I FLIPPED OUT when I approached the Travelling Merchant (for the sake of collecting his hat...) and saw the Blue Chicken Egg being sold, and proceeded to realize that the Blue Chicken wasn't an simple reference, but part of an actual crossover that was kept out of the changelogs.
Lol, props to you @ChippyGaming for your patience, I got it randomly the first time I checked the Merchant after the update (although I had already thrown the hat into the shimmer)

The blue chicken is also a reference to Zelda Ocarina of Time where one of the items in a long set of trading quests is a blue chicken called Cojiro

Stardrop should be an accessory that increases mana (like it increases energy in the game) and spawns the Junimo as an extra.
What i wish for the team of Terraria to add is that you can use the hammer to break the walls without having to start somewhere where the wall ends.

Fastest way to farm for the traveling merchant if you want to save time, is save the game just before 4:30am, turn off autosave (to avoid corrupting your save or having an autosave happen at a bad time) and if he doesn't show up by noon, alt f4, and reload, this way you don't need to wait in bed for 5 minutes or so every failed attempt.
I am so happy. Two of my favorite games having a crossover is amazing! I always thought they would be a great crossover too!
I sure hope there will be something in stardew valley from Terraria Chippy. It will be exciting.
There's also a flower you can find in the underground jungle that gives you another pet. I found it yesterday while looking for the aether. It's a pretty big, blue, and glows

I love both of these games so much and have at least 200 hours in both of them and I’m so happy you brought this to light thank you chippy from a terraria enthusiast
I can imagine the wand of flowers in Stardew, allowing you to have flowers as decorations quickly and without going out of season. Or maybe some swords and some variations of slimes.

even if i dont know many of the games that well i absolutely love the crossovers for terraria
like an entire event and npc from dungeon defenders; or seeing an actual glimpse of stardew valley; and even some of the smaller ones like the pets from that cave game or just straight up the portal gun
and then theres obviously the dont starve crossover which i think is the coolest mostly just because i already know and love dont starve and its like; a really big one with custom clouds and some outfits and lucy the axe my beloved and just straight up the deerclops (and the eye of cthulhu and the twins in dont starve; since those are my favourite bosses from terraria)
theres so many crossovers of varying sizes but i really love them all; and even when i dont know them that well i really wish there were more honestly (really hoping a monster hunter crossover could happen just because i think itd be cool for the devs and new bosses and whatnot are always fun)
Really interested in the crossover content. I love both games so I hope we see a little more content in both games going forward.

For example an enormous ammount of paintings was added. Some found in world gen, some are sold and even several enemies from the solar eclipse drop them lol
I was playing the 1.4.4 for the first time, the very first Traveling Merchant that came within 20 minutes had a blue egg. Didn't realize that it was a Stardew Valley crossover until I saw the chicken. Very happy.

I saw the blue chicken egg for sale from the first traveling merchant that spawned when I made a new world, and later bought one in a hardmode world, so there don't seem to be any specific conditions

OH MY GOSH! Me and my friends have just got into this game and I'm so hyped!
Somthing I found when I was playing the new update is the first time I died the death message said that I was sent back to the farm, that was pretty cool not so noticeable as the pets but it was still something.
other note the blue chicken is a reference to the blue chicken (from the big goron quest to get the big goron sword)from Legend of Zelda ocarina of time.

I'm so happy to see this crossover. Theyre both amazing games overflowing with passion, and their similar sprite styles are perfect for this sort of thing :)
I think a thing that might come across to Stardew is the yoyo weapon/s. Its not out of place for Stardew, but would add a bit more variety to the combat in the game.
Either that or an acorn that grows a tree that looks similar to the Terraria ones, maybe dropping a random fruit each growth.
I'm really happy finally seeing a crossover between two of my favorite games. The only thing I feel missing is having the Junimo sounds in the game when it spawns or moves or opens the portal.

Stardew's expanded mod already has lots of Terraria Easter eggs in it. Such as some of the fish and weapons. It's been a while since I've played but it was fun to see.
Also would really like a cutscene where if you throw the Blue Chicken Egg into shimmer water, Shane floats back up and you get to have him as an NPC

Core keeper also did a crossover with terraria, I found the pet summon item in the cavern Layer
got that cola and was shook. i would’ve never known to do that with it

Wow I bought the blue chicken egg from the merchant the next day in my game. I had no idea it was from Stardew Valley! Let alone I didn't even know they had a secret crossover!
I found the blue egg by chance and was so happy to see it was the Stardew Valley chicken! So happy about this crossover :)
they also added a glowing tulip from core keeper that summons a underground gardener or something
The tooltip for mousing over the blue chicken buff icon is “The Nametag Reads Shane”
Fun fact: you can find glow tulips in terraria. They are the caveling farmer pet's spawn for the other colab you covered
theres another pet i found while trying to find shimmer pond its called a glow tulip it summons a kind of cowboy type pet really cool u should check it out

OMG I didn't even know the blue chicken egg was a stardew valley reference. Funny thing is that I got it the FIRST time the Traveling Merchant came into town and hearing it took you two hours to finally get it actually made me laugh so hard

my guess for the stardew item from terraria could be a sword or tool for something to equip, or maybe a random day change event with the EoCs shadow flying past your house at night

I got the blue chicken pretty quickly, if I remember correctly you can hover over the buff icon and there’s a reference about a name tag or something
i love how terraria has so many links to other game worlds, it's at this point they don't even feel like references, but more terraria is an actually branching world to others.
