amazing they were pulled out before the vehicle imploded. I would think less painfull. I feel horriblle for these men, and much sympathy for their families, thank you for all your research and effort to help others, now may you find your peace.
Even if they played it safe they wouldn’t have known the danger they were driving into. They didn’t realize that the El Reno tornado was so wide and the wind field was massive that they drove right into its path to get an intercept. (The El Reno tornado was also heavily rain wrapped so they didn’t know what they were driving into.) R.I.P twistex!
That was one of the worst tornadoes ever since it had wind speeds estimated to be 302 by a Doppler on Wheels and was 2.6 miles wide! That thing was a monster. RIP Twistex, you will be missed.
Would that have helped? This tornado was 2.6 miles wide, moving over 60 mph, had wind speeds of 295+ and was full of subvortices that had wind speeds of around 300 you sure that would have helped. It was also insanely unpredictable it would turn left then turn right it was just insane
They got killed in the Monty vortex tornado not the main tornado but the vortexes twister tornado they got killed in that tornado ☠️ no joke so yes basically they dead dead
@@BrembengPrastyoActually, after researching one page too many earlier, I found that the subvortices that hit them them did a 360° on them before taking off was 100+ yards wide, was moving 175mph across the ground, and had winds inside that were 290-330mph, but according to marks on the ground their car did end to end cartwheels around 13 times per second for about 5-6 seconds, and is why highway patrol heard something on radio from them, and why the video footage was seen by very few then destroyed.
Ok so the twistex tornado team they were driving an eletric car i think and it ran out of power and then the tornado took them and threw then half a mile RIP
No they didn’t stop mf LYING! It was 2013. They were driving a Chevy cobalt 😂 with all their equipment in it, it slowed the car down. Stop JUST SITTING THERE LYING
He was one of the safest on the show. Smdh just sad😢😢😢😢

Tim was found buckled into his seat still.
Tim was still buckled in when they found him. Paul and Carl were pulled out and found a quarter mile away in opposite directions.
@@jimbobshambleshow do you know? I haven't really watched the news part of Reno only the first hand perspectives such Pecos hank, Talbot and robinson
Still so sad, and Tim was such a conservative chaser, always played it safe, not fair.
i was watching storm chasers he was an aggressive stormchaser

My favorite line from Tim was when they were in Nebraska and he said "That's what happens when you feed a thunderstorm with 5000 cape"

The Twistex Team Died Because They Did Not use a anchored car just a normal car

Well, it technically would help cuz intercept vehicles tend to have strong engines so they could flee faster...

Chase in a tin can car is not good
I dont think a car made of any material would stand a chance in 260+ mph winds
