These are great insights. Very useful for dealing with the people in my area that are extreme Trump worshipping fools forcing the rhetoric upon me. I also liked the the counsel regarding how the intellectual is despised among the rabble. Ive been dealing with these affronts for 8 years now. The MAGA phenomenon has made me into a pariah in my native lands because I will not submit to their astounding disregard for reason. Just imagine what Schopenhaur would think of these current times.
My sympathies, no really, from the bottom of my heart I mean it. Trying to have a sound conversation over issues & events based on facts and evidence with cultists is exhaustingly futile. So, I learned to keep quiet with the odd family member, the angry coworker, and the indignant neighbor. I give them a genuine look of pity, and pray that enough voters in the battleground states will vote like me here in my blessed blue state. 🇺🇸
