Joe Friedl Jr to be fair the driver of the dodge went in and just held it to the floor. Bubba burned up the clutches in his tranny. Green dodge was a he'll of a lot more truck than what bubba was in.

Yes, ONE Chevy did make it, though he only made it because the two Fords at the beginning cleared the path for him. The crew cab Ford did better than everyone else (except the last two guys who made it) and the crew cab Ford had smaller tires and it weighed a hell of a lot more too!

The first few trucks that couldn't make it were the ones that basically cleared the mud were the axles kept getting stuck for the others to get through even the dodge would've made it at the end

What was the little spinning this on the front axel of the green ram? Ive seen em before but never knew what they were
Dominic Barile they were rockwell axles. like out of big military trucks. they use the rotor&brake caliper on the end of the drive shaft which makes it easier to stop with bigger tires an more weight.

no sir. just the caliper an rotor on the front drive shaft. only thing that goes to front tires is axles.

+Jake S Sure, you may think your diesel is fast, but in mud you need to move large volume of mud to keep going, sorta like a boat prop, well diesels are generally governed at a reasonable RPM (I don't know for sure, what 2500 on a cummins, 3500 on a ford?) A hot rod gas engine can run 10,000 easy, especially for a short run in the bog.
