I love that you've included different scales and even the smallest of layouts Everybody always seems to show the largest and most accurate but I am a fan of all of them
My grandpa has an unkown train from the 1940s by Lionel. It just says Lionel on the side of the coal car, and it is o gauge. The whistle only works from the coal car but if the coal car isn’t on the train, the whistle is a power booster. It is such a good train, and we always make a lay out where the train runs around the edge of the city, but the buildings are Ho gauge not o gauge. He has a lot of freight cars, 3 of which it came with when he first got it; a gondola car, oil tank car, and caboose. He has bought many more freight cars since them but I won’t name them all. I also bought him 5 Pennsylvania railways red passenger cars. If there is another train layout video, I will show you. Also, if you look at 23:30, that first red passenger car is the one I got 5 of for my grandpa.
Thank you, Chris, it was very kind of you to share the videos of so many of your subscribers. I was tickled and honored to see the OM&S included and must mention that no one could have pronounced the name any better than you. Your video was great from beginning to end. Thank you again. Bill B.

Shows you how much I pay attention to my subscription box on this site, otherwise I would have sent something in LOL. My layout is just a simple 4x6 with two simple loops of Fastrack, one on the table and the other elevated. The whole purpose of it was just to have something where I could run my O gauge trains in my apartment without tearing up the carpeting and be able to tear down and store away with ease in the event I would have to move. I have a ton of HO trains, but my best friends have been generous enough to let me store and run them on their layout at their house.

Each Christmas, I set up a 8'x10' floor layout in the living room. Each year, a different gauge/theme. Last year a very devoted Lionel collector/friend, specializing in std. gauge passed away. I, and two others, had free access to take any of all of his collection. I choose four 400e locos, two bipolars and a fine selection of freight and passenger rolling stock, plus a fleet of O gauge PCC Cars, four with the San Francisco livery scheme. S.F. is my home town, and I rode the prototypes for years to my job downtown. Speaking of O gauge, I have a good sized collection of these as well. This year my theme will feature the PCC's and the maintenance yard. Most of the std. gauge I choose is from the MPC era. Don had Lionel going back to the 1900's. These, we decided to go into a museum of toy trains from their beginning, as pull toys, windups and finally electrics. Very glad to see the hobby thriving! Hey Chris! Pleasure to meet you! I'm Daniel, a Chessie System Freak Fan!! I love cats and I do own cats. I finally bought me a Chessie System IHC in HO scale cause O scale is a little to expensive so I managed to get a lot of Freights and Passengers and steam engines too. I saw you have a Chessie System Steam? The last time I saw it was from home alone 2. If you have a Chessie System, could you please show it on youtube on your layout? Really Appreciated. I was using the search for Chessie in your channel, but I couldn't find any.
Man this gave me the motivation to get back into working on my layout. It ended up in a stalemate thanks to the current prices of lumber and foam board.. Maybe I’ll try to submit it for your second episode. Another RUclips channel I’ve been watching and enjoying is Top Railroad. Defiantly worth a watch.
How are you sure Victor from New Jersey. Watching the viewer video send in video that you made hope it's good I was just busting JD studies.chop a friendly non-verbally abusive way. Starting out with Boyd's billiards I love i absolutely right that HO scale layout is gorgeous incredible scenery. You need to go on tour and personally see every one of these layouts.
Chris, question, I am super stumped here and have to make a decision in just a few days. I am looking through the new catalog 2022 and I can't decide if I should get the Orange greenbrier, with all cars, or standard greenbrier with all cars, or the challenger. I can only pick one. I don't have any steam engines because I'm new and I'm not sure which one would be best and I am equally torn between them both.
Those are all a win-win in my opinion. If you do not already have a Greenbrier, I would go with the Standard one. Then again, I am all about the colorful fantasy schemes so that I probably what I would end up doing, LOL. I guess my answer does not help much so I would go with the one that stands out most to you. Enjoy!
@@RBPTrains I ended up getting the 613 with the elephant ears, I know its not the famous 614 but I liked the elephant ears on the 613 and I got the Challenger as well lol YIKES lol I watched your "Running big engines" the other night and pulled the trigger on both LOL

If you can’t always have a lay out up, just make a mat with roads made out of tape or paper, and don’t permanently put the tracks on it.
Even if my full video didn’t make it in, it was nice to see a small clip of it in the beginning. Great video as always.
We will see you in the next one!
@@RBPTrains Cool. Thanks for letting me know.
Same thing that has slowed me down is the price of wood and foam board as well. I can’t wait to see your layout featured one day on RBP Trains.
Amazing video Chris!
