I loved this! I do have some questions: what are your thoughts about organic ingredients, how long does the broth keep in the fridge and do you freeze it and can it? Thanks!!

Hi there!🙋🏽‍♀️ I think using organic ingredients is fantastic, that’s even more a reason to use every bit! Bones from an Organic chicken will give you a richer more gelatinous broth. Bone broth will keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, if you leave the chilled fat on the top( you can easily remove the fat from the broth after it has chilled) My preferred method is to measure out the amount that I need for an upcoming recipe, and strain the remaining broth and divide into freezer safe containers, in the quantities that I know I will need. You can also freeze smaller portions in freezer bags and keep them handy for quick defrosting when you’re in a hurry! As to canning, I pressure can my bone broths, just because it’s safer than water bath canning, but freezing is the best method! Happy cooking!
