Degrees are anyways irrelevant for creatives (most of the time). but yes, it will cut jobs and makes formal education irrelevant in most of the industries. But not a lot, see it in this perspective - company may expect you to deliver 2X or 3X productivity to increase there time-to-market and revenue potential
